We are ‘umming’ and ‘aahing’ over betting today as the conditions were atrocious yesterday and led to a few strange results. The Truant just failed to get up for the win but by placing saved the embarrassment of a blank day but still lost us a couple points. 🙁
Whilst typing this we have had the news that the Irish Racing goes ahead so we have decide to go with
Leopardstown 12.05 Miss Gherkin 80-1 but we have gone with 20-1 for 8 places
(I believe Sudsie will be posting our alternate 4yo wager for the same race later).

Leopardstown 12.05 Joyeaux Vivo 11-1 but we have gone with 7-2 betting without Jade De Grugy and Butcher Hollow
Leopardstown 12.40 Clonbury Bridge @ 20-1 for 6 places
The two above will initially just be done as an each way double and we will see if we are still on after the first race.

Limerick 12.20 Only A Dollar 100-1 but we have gone with 17-1 for 8 places
Limerick 12.20 Whateys Quest 100-1 but we have gone with 20-1 for 8 places

What a strange day we started off with both Gamigin winning advised at 10-1 and Gold Haven placing at 9-2 and I thought here we go. 🙂 Then Nathan Wells came fifth we needed fourth closely followed by the other two runners tailing off or pulling up. ? You sometimes wonder why we bother….lol. But it was a profit on the day so we will go in again today with the following.

Now for our Boxing Day selections for the accumulator

Cruisin Susun let us down yesterday which means we are now starting a slippery slope this month since the Heavy ground appeared and the sensible thing to is stop until the ground gets a little better. 🙁

No Fussing was the only horse to place but as the ground remained Heavy I did not not update the site so at the end of the day it was bookies 2 Mike 0. 🙁 We have a similar problem today with the ground still being atrotious but we will put a few up for consideration over at Naas.
