MikeKeymasterHi
It was another so so day yesterday with Missus Beeton and Destivelle both placing but Phils Choice put in a none to clever round of jumping and let the side down.
We will be back on Sunday for the usual Irish Racing at Cork but will also be going in with a few runners taken from our Ten To Follow competition entries which can be found on the link.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have managed to pick out our early doors November line which is unlikely to win us any money but after last years claim to fame and getting montioned in the Racing Post we just have to see if we can get lightning to strike twice. https://www.racingpost.com/news/protektorat-pushes-team-without-star-players-to-top-of-ten-to-follow-table/589378Β π

MikeKeymasterHi Suds
I am hoping for a few other participants this week but we will see how it goes, I see you are going with one of the Ten To Follow selections so I will take a look at the 3.15 which has both Bravemansgame and Ahoy Senor in it.
The NFL selctions and NBA selctions have been doing well for us so far and one of the better mixed sport selections a fortnight ago proved a success but the golf bets have been optimistic so I will drop those away for now. π
England +13 to beat South Africa @ 1-1 Won
Man City to beat Brighton + BTTS @ 6-4 Won
Kansas City Chiefs -5 to beat LA Chargers @ 20-23 Won
Satoshi Kodaira to win The ZOZO Championship @ 33-1
MIL Bucks -5 to beat MEM Grizzlies @ 10-11 Won
4.56 Limerick Knocknagappagh @ 11-1 Non Runner
I will fill in the blanks after 9pm as usual tonight when everyone has had a chance to post.
MikeKeymasterHi
Apologies for late post but Ten To Follow competition is now taking up a lot of research time. π«€
We are heading to Thurles today for the following horses.
2.05 Missus Beeton @ 13-2
2.40 Destivelle @ 9-2 for 5 place’s
3.15 Phil’s Choice @ 10-1 for 5 place’s
3.50 Tom Kelly @ 18-1
Sam Magee is an option in the 3.50 but I would be looking to back without the favourite in this race if possible. π
MikeKeymasterHi
It’s that time again for this seasons National Hunt TTF and if anyone is interested in joining in please let me know a.s.a.p. The competition starts on the 18th November and I will post the shortlist by weekend. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Mixed fortunes again with Late Vocation coming fourth when we needed third which was closely followed by Theonewedreamof coming second just failing to snatch the win at the death. Which means we dropped half a point on the day so it could have been worse.
There is unfortunately no racing until Thurles on Thursday assuming the weather gets no worse. However we are having a bit of fun over on the Competitions page on theΒ Joes dream punt thread for those who want to join in.
MikeKeymasterHi
Another mixed bag that looked like being a great day after the first three races with Biggerthanbigtime 15-1 and Makaela’s Choice 28-1 both placing in third for nice place returns then Waterford Whisperers won at 11-2 and I thought the gods were with us. π However it all went downhill after that and although coming out a few points up it was dissapointing on the day. π
Todays action has all but been washed out by the weather but we still have two going assuming Galway goes ahead as Wexford has already been abandoned.
12.41 Late Vocation @ 12-1
4.10 Theonewedreamof @ 12-1 for 5 places
MikeKeymasterHi
A tad unlucky today with Sayitfirst 9-1 (BOG) placing having just been mugged on the line for the win. Charming Fortune won (BOG) 9-2 but was in a double with Old Chap who approached the last hurdle in second but unfortunately went wrong and quickly pulled up.
We are hoping to do a little better tomorrow over at Galway
1.57 Biggerthanbigtime 33-1 but we have taken the 15-1 for 6 places
2.32 Makaela’s Choice 50-1 but we gone with 28-1 for 5 places
4.17 Jay Jay Zee @ 20-1 for 4 places
The following will be done as each way doubles
3.07 Waterford Whispers @ 11-2
4.17 Lord Snootie @ 6-1 for 4 places
4.52 Knocknaggapah @ 9-1 for 5 places
MikeKeymasterHi
Talk In The Park duly placed without the favourite and Lucky Viv also placed but as I did not update the thread in time we cannot count the first one so we dropped a few points on the day.Β π
We will try and get back on track over at Sligo tomorrow but beware the weather.
2.25 Sayitfirst @ 13-2 for 4 places
3.35 Gamigin @ 9-1 for 5 places
The following two will be used in an each way double
3.00 Charming Fortune @ 10-30
4.45 Old Chap @ 9-2
MikeKeymasterHi
Here are tomorrow’s selections for Clonmel
2.00 The Empty Kettle 66-1 but we have gone with 20-1 for 6 places
2.00 Talk In The Park
We were going to back Talk In The Park without the favourites but unfortunately you not only have The Electrical Kid and Croke Park running but Brave Adam is also being heavily backed, sos we will let the markets settle before going in.
2.35 Lucky Viv @ 9-2
3.45 Blue Reed @ 8-1 for 4 places
We will update the thread if we get a chance after the non runners are declared in the morning. π
MikeKeymasterHi
A mixed bag of results today with Catch The Beast 30-1, Diamboy Des Carres 9-2 and Robyndeglory 7-1 all placing and the other three losing (albeit Champagne Mahler was close) which made it a strange day. π This meant that we crept over the finish line with a small +1.56 point profit on the day.
This was not great but we will settle for that as the conditions were pretty bad.
We have nothing on the horizon for the time being, but there is a meeting scheduled over at Clonmel on Thursday and we have couple in our sights, but will have a precautionary update on Wednesday due the forecast rain. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Of the two bets that we committed to yesterday Larkfield Lusive came second so we got our return and with Knocknagappagh being a non runner we came out a few pennies up on the day.
We have a similar situation today over at Limerick today with late inspections and not a lot of market options on offer.
1.55 Tropical Image 50-1 but we will go with 16-1 for 9 places
2.30 Catch The Beast 150-1 but again we will go for 9 places at 30-1
2.30 Champagne Mahler 18-1 but at 10-1 without Walk Away Harry2.30 Diamboy Des Carres 9-1 but we will take the 9-2 betting without Walk Away Harry & Whats Up Darling
3.05 Chainofconsequences @ 7-2 for 4 places
3.40 Robin De Glory @ 7-1 for 5 places
The three above will be taken as three each way doubles for the site π
MikeKeymasterHi
We have a couple of options today over at Limerick assuming the racing goes ahead
2.05 Chicago Storm 16-1
2.05 Knocknacree 14-1
2.05 Fascinating Sky 40-1
We will be waitng for the extra markets and/or non runners before committing to a bet here
2.40 Cosmic Rock 10-1 could be the real deal but has not run for ages so watch for support in the markets
4.21 Larkfield Lusive 28-1 but we will go with 14-1 for 7 places
4.56 Knocknagappagh @ 12-1 for 5 places
All of the above are subject to the meeting going ahead due to the weatherΒ π -
