MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Sorry, I deleted your post as the fixture has to be in play over the weekend can you post another one. ?
MikeKeymasterHi
I see Joe has already gone in and I believe Suds was going in tonight but may miss the deadline (due to outside issues) so I might as well have a dabble as the racing is not a reliable option until the ground and the weather settle down a bit.
I will try out Suds Rugby fixtures data base tonight and go with the following
Edinburgh v Ospreys @ 9-2
Under 48.5 points in the game
Over 2.5 penalties scored
Ospreys +15.5 to win
Munster v Zebre @ 10-3
Zebre +37.5 to win
Under 54.5 points in the game
Over 0.5 penalties scored
The double comes out at just over 22-1 (god help me if I screw this one up)These are tomorrows football bets 🙂
League 2
Crawley v Barrow @ 23-20
Over 1 goal and over 4 corners for Barrow
Swindon v Harrogate @ 1-1
Over 1 goal + over 4 corners Swindon + over 2 corners Harrogate
Wrexham v Accrington @ 11-10
Wrexham to win + over 3 corners Wrexham + over 2 corners Accrington
Newport v Mansfield @ 10-11
Over 0 goals Mansfield + over 3 corners for both teams
I am quite keen on these as they are taken from a new spreadsheet and the fourfold comes to just over 16-1 if you feel lucky 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
The ground at Navan is not something I would like to chance and the fields are small so I am going to give the racing a miss until tomorrow. 🙁
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Thanks for the heads up (always appreciated) and nice to know you made a few bob as well. 🙂 You can repay the favour when the Club Rugby returns this weekend. 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
Clonmel has been abandoned today and while it is always dissapointing (as there is a quite a bit of work involved in picking the selections), such is life. The next opportunity will be Saturday for us and let’s also hope the weather clears up in time for Cheltenham.
MikeKeymasterHi
It’s hats off to JoeH last night who got one of his corner bets in and that bet saved the day.
Only one of my banker came in and although it cleared me for that part of the bet I should have cashed out on the Hearts v Hibernian long shot at half time. But at that time the bet was going really well and I got greedy. 🙁 However with myself and Joe agreeing for the first time on football (this year..lol) the winning corner bet linked above came in and kept the thread honest.
MikeKeymasterHi Joe
I am guessing you were out on the razz last night mate or you have predictive text on your phone…lol.
It was Celtic not Chelsea and Celtic grabbed a late corner with about ten seconds to go. So you got your over 9.5 in and just missed out on the over 10. 🙂
Another notch on the belt for Joe H (hope the heads not too bad this morning) 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
We will pop over to Clonmel tomorrow to try a new system out (we have been dabbling…lol)
3.32 Dream Once More @ 14-1 but we have taken 10-1 for 4 places
4.07 Beggars Rock 150-1 but we have taken the 19-1 for 8 places
4.07 Rodney 100-1 but we may take the 17-1 for 8 places if there are no further market changes
4.42 Coulrophobia 50-1 for 4 places but we are undecided on this one
Obviously we will update the thread late tonight or first thing tomorrow. 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
It has been a while since I dabbled on this particular thread and with Cheltenham coming up it could be the last for a week or so. The wagers here have also been used on the Joe.. goes to the corner 🙂 thread but obviously only for the corners aspect of the wager.
Hearts v Hibernian BB 6-4 LS 50-1
Nottinham Forest v Man United BB 7-4 LS 66-1
Liverpool v Southampton BB 15-8 LS 66-1
The Banker Bet on all three games is BTTS + 1 corner each half both teams and 1 card or more both teams.
The Long Shot wager on all three games will be BTTS and 2+ corners both teams both halves and 20+ booking points both teams in the match.
We have mixed these up a bit just for fun but as per usual you do your own thing. 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi Joe
Something’s wrong, I actually fancy this one myself as I have used three of the same matches on the main Goalpost Tips thread , albeit in a slightly different context. I cannot remember the last time we agreed on a bet. ? Well that’s given tonights little wager the kiss of death (sorry about that)…lol. 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
After getting the both Basketball wagers in early last saturday morning we had high hopes of a decent return, only for it all to fall apart in the last 10 minutes of all the other games. 🙁
However beware, as when this happens I get grumpy and will be throwing some silly ones in for this weekends competition along with a couple of banker bets. It’s all to with old age but…. 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
I will have another look as well now that the Club Rugby is back. The Six Nations is fun to do but so unpredictable. 🙁 That’s no offense to Italy who played a blinder but if you played that game again tomorrow I would still be thinking France by at least 15 points. The fact that they were -35 in the prematch handicap was nuts.
MikeKeymasterHi
After a terrible run of luck having a 25-1 win on Noble Birth just about restores your faith. 🙂
This brought in a nice +26 point profit on this thread and more importantly a whopping +56 point profit on the Mike’s Retirement Plan thread and makes for a great day at the office. 🙂 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
This betting game is strange old affair. I have had the worst run of luck over the last few days as mentioned in the previous post. Added to which I crashed out on the rival retirement plan in the Goalposts thread yesterday by missing just one of the ten options listed in the bet.
I then do two today the first one loses and I literally cannot be asked to watch the last race and Noble Birth romps home at 16-1 advised at 25-1.
This brings our running total to a very healthy looking +87.75 points but the next bet has to a minimum 9 point layout to keep the rolling maul going. There is nothing on the horizon until Thursday but we will be back. 🙂 -
