Another non runner in Whale Harbour and even though Jasmin De Cotte only managed midfield it is still frustrating that we cannot get a run with our selections.
We do have high hopes of the meeting going ahead at Punchestown tomorrow where we will be looking at the following selctions subject to the extra markets.

No joy with the last bet and with not much on again tomorrow we will take a punt on one of Gordon Elliot’s runners in the big handicap over at Gowran Park.

We scraped a return last week by virtue of Wales in the rugby, Newcastle in the football and our horse being a non runner but they all count. We will try the same horse this week and hope he runs.Benetton +17.5 to beat Leinster @ 10-11

Well I was due a wake up call and although the principle behind the bet was good (had Coulrophobia run another low 9.30 he would have finished 4th) he probably went off to fast and faded two out. 🙁
This means we dropped 7 points and now drop back to +24.05 but can still use the 7 point option.MikeKeymasterHi
Although this is a tougher race and there are only 6 places available our ‘to follow’ horse Coulrophobia 200-1 looks like running today so we have taken him on at 55-1 for 6 places. 🙂 I know this thread is meant to consist of ‘safe bets’ and this selection has been well beaten in all his races to date, but he has run a very consistant low 9.30 speed ratings on all his three runs and that technically places him 5th today (assuming there are no hot newcomers).MikeKeymasterHi
Coulrophobia was between 100-1 and 200-1 in places last night and it is a tough race but bet365 are now going 200-1 and 55-1 for 6 places and I can resist no longer so that is the second bet of the day. 🙂
We technically have him finishing 5th which is available at 110-1 but thats for the foolhardy (yes we may have done him on a personal level). 🙂 The first four home should be Kings Hill, Little Biggie, Cappucino and Muhtaluza which leaves us in with a squeak.MikeKeymasterHi
Our previous aborted bet (due to race being abandoned) was Coulrophobia who may now run tomorrow at Thurles.

The problem here is that you can now only get 6 places 🙁 But we will press ahead as we have found another option which is listed below and will update the Coulrophobia wager later.

Having mentioned you had hit the crossbar a few times of late there is no way this bet cannot come in tonight as the first three games are already in and the last game Guimeres v Benfica already has 6 corners. Another non runner today which is becoming a real pain as we do spend a lot of time looking for a bet but such is life. We will weather permitting be back on Tuesday over at Thurles. 🙂 -
