MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Not long to go another week and the Racing, Football and Rugby seasons are all gearing up for action.
We will be looking at a cheeky each double tomorrow over at Wexford
6.05 Baltinglass Hill @ 5-1 for 4 places
7.50 Glendars Mahler @ 14-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
We have given it a while but have been keeping an eye on our man Chris Gotterup and we will be taking him at 200-1 +(25% bet 365 boost) for 12 places in the Wyndham Championship.
MikeKeymasterHi
With no bet available on A Penny A Hundred and Petrol Head being a non runner we were left with just Kings Hill to fly the flag and although running well enough to stay in our notebook we lost 2 points on the day on our last venture out.
We have spotted a couple over at Galway today which are as follows
1.55 Game Eagle 150-1 but we have gone with 80-1 betting without Hipop De Loire and Apples Of Bresil (bet365)
2.30 Anna Bunina @ 10-1 for 7 places (skybet)
As a footnote Suds spotted this one from our to follow data base and has gone 10-1 for 8 places.
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
No worries late reply I have taken the opportunity to have work done on the house (always planned for when the site is quiet…lol) so have not been on as much as I should have been.
However there is an interesting race at Galway tomorrow where we will be looking at the following
5.05 Kings Hill @ 14-1 for 7 places
5.05 Petrol Head @ 12-1 for 7 places
5.05 A Penny A Hundred 66-1
The first two we taken on with Sky for the 7 places A Penny A Hundred we will wait until we see which way the markets move as the best price at present for 7 places is 33-1.
MikeKeymasterHi
I will be having a look at the Galway festival this week as some of the days are mixed racing. This is still not a return to our season which will come as we get well into August but there is a possible punt tomorrow.
4.50 Hutton Glen 50-1 but we will go with the 11-1 for 6 places or a bet without the favourites.
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Nice one I only had 14-1 for 6 places but unfortunately cannot claim either for the site as I did not get back in time to post. 🙁
I am assuming you went in again with Jumping Susie yesterday. ?
MikeKeymasterHi
Another non runner in Dream Shaper on Monday but hopefully this one will turn out at Wexford tomorrow.
5.00 Sights Unseen @ 40-1
MikeKeymasterHi
Navigator Jack ran well enough and was still in contention albeit for a place when he fell at the last fence, but such is life.
August and a return to action is not far off and all we can come up with for tomorrow at Ballinrobe is..
4.45 Dream Shaper 125-1
We will obviously be looking to the extra markets with this one and will update the thread tomorrow. 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
We will take a punt tonight for one running over at Killarney tomorrow.
6.02 Navigator Jack @ 33-1 for 5 places.
MikeKeymasterHi
Dreamings Free ran no sort of race but Dinoland finished a cracking second behind what I believe was a very well handicapped horse. At least we wiped our nose on the day and live to fight again. There are a few running today but until we get back into August and the ground eases we will be thin on the ground with wagers.
MikeKeymasterHi
I was suspicious we would end up with at least one non runner and unfortunately Ad Caelum has now been withdrawn. I did have a back up option in the 4.25 but the price is now a bit short so we will stick with what we have.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have a long haul until August when our season starts over but we will keep looking around to see if we can keep the threads turning over before we reset. We will try Kilbeggan tonight with the following.
4.25 Ad Caelum @ 11-1 for 4 places
6.45 Dreamings Free @ 25-1 for 4 places
7.20 Dinoland @ 16-1 for 4 places
We will update the thread when the non runners have been declared.
MikeKeymasterHi
If nothing else we at least had a few runners today and although no winners at least they started the race…lol. There are a few possibilities tomorrow but after that there will be another few days break so we will leave it now until the end of the week when hopefully the rain will reappear and we can start getting back down to business.
I have had a query/inquiry as to why so many of the horses we back do not run when the weather appears perfect. It is mainly because we back in hurdle races and whilst the ground may be good for flat racing sometimes the ground can be a little to firm for horse that are jumping and the risk of jarring when landing on ground that has little or no give it in can be problematic.
MikeKeymasterHi
Unfortunately due to the ground being on the firm side of good, two of our three selections were non runners yesterday and the other one lost so we dropped two points on the day.
We were going to give today a miss but with rain forecast we will take a chance on the following at Sligo.
2.00 Kimjoy @ 11-2
2.35 Bigira @ 13-2
4.50 Mustameet Secret @ 12-1 for 5 places -
