I will point out that there is no guaranteed wins and there are T&C’s attached but if you already have an opinion on a game the use of such offers can be very productive. I had been of the opinion there would be tries tonight as France have scored a minimum of 19+ points and Ireland 13 + points individually in there last eight matches.
France have home advantage and are flying high so Ireland could be in for a tough night.
With this in mind I have gone 5 points for France -13 to win @ 1-1 (money back with Paddy Power) then I have gone 4 points on Ireland +27.5 to win with over 4 tries and more tries than penalties scored in the game @ 11-10 (plus a 25% price boost) obviously with Bet 365.
The only thing that could go wrong (in theory) tonight is a low scoring game with converted penalties deciding the game.

Puma’s Dream 9-1 saved a few blushes by winning today and although Journey So Far let us down, with Anodandawink being a non runner that actually helped us out with the doubles etc.
This has given us a +5.60 return on the day and taken us back down to -8-80 which is a great relief. However the biggest take out for me today was the error made by Paddy Power when pricing without the second favorite as they have done this before and I will looking for this again.
With this in mind I know Suds had been pondering a thread along similar lines so keep an eye for that one.

Novice mistake last night as I did not notice Anodandawink was third reserve. But we have that ridiculous Bet Bulder wager in the 2.52 which will probaly compound the problem but here goes.

Ridiculously (but I am not complaining) Paddy Power are offering Pumas Dream currently 8-1 @ 9-1 betting without Vitorio Piel. ?
This has prompted me to go in tonight with a !/2 point each way single on Pumas Dream and three 1/2 point each way doubles on the following selections.

1.42 Journey So Far @ 16-1 for 5 places
2.52 Pumas Dream @ 9-1 for 3 places
4.02 Anodandawink @ 12-1 for 5 places

This is a risky option points wise for the second day running but I still feel bad for not having the “cojones” to go for it yesterday.

Once again ultimately disappointing but that is down to the fact I did not follow the system from 2025 and have now missed two winners which should have been +10 points each. But we did not get slaughtered so start tomorrow on -14.60 and a three races to look at.
All the races are at Thurles and there are no To Follow horses so no pressure there.

Phew….that was close but means we cannot lose today which is huge relief. Both bet builder options in the 2.13 came in via Agameoftwohalves winning and Can Happen coming third it’s now Squeaky time whilst I wait till see if we can pull off a return in the 2.48.
Obviously that will be the second time I have missed a out by not going all in with the To Follow horse but steadying the ship was the idea until we get going.

I have the feeling this is going to be an expensive day but here goes..

2.13 Agameoftwohalves is on the To Follow list but has become to short a price for me to back being as I am trying to steady the ship. But we will take him to win and Can Happen to finish top 3 in a 1 point bet builder at @ 4-1.
2.48 Jacko Star is the other To Follow horse and bet 365 are offering 3 places so it was worth the wait and as he is drifting we can get 8-1 so we will go 1 point each way (BOG attatched).
2.48 We will take a bet builder for top 4 finish on Jacko Star, Take Stock & James The Brave @ 10-1
We will also use the above wager for bet builder options including a double with the following selection which comes out at 27.6-1

You know how it goes, for the main bet and the each way double I wanted 4 places and they both finished 5th fortunately we had taken Miss Mini Bee for 6 as the each way extra so only dropped 2.5 points on the day. This does now make the running total – 15.9….
This is not a good situation to be in when all of tomorrows selections are in 7 runner races with only two places on offer.

No worries tell Jack I contacted several sites not just his to see if we could all get together to kick off the idea of a bigger competition. ? It’s unlikely I would get involved in running one for the flat as I didn’t but have the membership but might be able to help get it started.
As for any free bets you may win they are just for fun to see if anyone can turn a profit on the side (effectively starting a new competition). So please by all means use them if you get them but thanks for the offer.

Another loss last time out takes us to -13.40 and the new thread is beginning to worry me slightly but we do have a lot of runners over the next few days and are still confident of turning this around. Tomorrow we head to Fairyhouse for the following….

3.30 Miss Mini Bee currently 18-1
4.05 Ready for Road @ 20-1 for 4 places (bet365) which we have taken straight away as it is a “To Follow” horse.

We have gone straight in with Ready For Road as most firms have him at 14-1 or less and we only need at 20-1 to go 1/2 point each way.
We will see what options are available for Miss Mini Bee later but unless anything changes in the next half an hour we will go 1/2 point each way @ 10-1 for 6 places.

Also a long shot and as Miss Mine Bee is one that still owes us a win from the Ridiculous Ideas for 2025 we will throw in a 1/2 point each way double (4 places) at the original 18-1 & 20-1.

Well that was a close but no coconut prediction Nottingham Forest went a goal up then gave away a penalty and got a man sent off before halftime which rather let Palace off the ropes. Also my beloved hammers went 2-0 up against Chelsea and the old coulds,woulda,shoulda comes into play where if my boys had held on and Nico Williams had not handled the ball on the line against Palace we would now be looking at Palace being around 5-1 to get relegated. But the bet is still valid and at between 8-1 and 9-1 currently and still has some legs.
We will now turn our attention to Cheltenham as the Non Runner No Bet has come into play with Paddy Power and our first suggestion is to go with Love Me Tender each way @ 20-1 for the Albert Bartlett there are bigger prices available without Non Runner No bet but his looks a safer option given that he runs today.
If he runs well today he could drop drastically in price as he runs against Doctor Confusion who is currently the 5-1 favorite for The Albert Bartlett. Alternatively if he gets well beaten they may well consider running him in his alternative Cheltenham option the Turners where he is currently priced up at 16-1. The obvious option is to go with both races but….. ?.
The next one Salsinha is one of my ridiculous options but I believe this one has some improvement in her and has the right backing to get involved in the Mares Novice Hurdle.
Salsinha has clocked a decent enough time to be considered and has been running against some decent opposition. Although not certain to run with quotes of as short as 33-1 to get 40-1 with Non Runner No Bet (in my opinion) has to be a decent each way shout.

Obviously with the original meeting being postponed is your original bet still valid. ? I know some bookmakers roll the bet over and some void them.
I have also started work on my Ante Post selections now that Non Runner No Bet has started to appear and one we both agree on is Love Me Tender. I will be putting this one up as my first bet for The Albert Bartlett @ 20-1 with Paddy Power.
Love Me Tender runs today against Doctor Steinburg currently 5-1 for favourite for The Albert Bartlett and looks a shot to nothing especially if he puts in an error free round today.

I am thinking the first two the other way around would have been living the dream but going to the line having backed Bowensonfire without I Started A Joke must have been a nice feeling…lol.
I see Romeo Coolio runs today and if he wins I have the feeling this month could see yourself Andy and Mgame pulling clear. ? But whichever way it goes it will be difficult to catch you now in the cash competition.
I had not thought this far ahead but if you are thinking of continuing as you have used all your first bet options and as long as its a win bet and on your TFT selections then I will place them as before.
