Only two bets last night and one of those again a non runner (the ground has gone very tacky). 🙁 The one runner we had got a bit bogged down and as we seem to be plagued with non runners of late we will give this thread a miss until the weekend. This will also give us an opportunity to upgrade our new database as all of the runners are now obviously classed as being a year older (which is what we have been waiting for). 🙂

Well I was confident of the place banker double (with a win option) and although Bishbashbosh placed second with Young Churchill being a non runner it was a bit of an anticlimax.

Well it was worth the wait as today as For Pleasure won advised at 6-1. Mill Street placed at 10-1, True Nation placed at 20-1 and The Flier Begley placed at 28-1 (BOG). Although the other two lost when you add the day up Option A came out at a +13.87 point profit and option B would have given you a +9.17 point profit.
So its hats off to Hopefull for sticking with it and lets hope we can get another boxed ticked tomorrow.

Yesterdays Bossofthebrownies wager placed and the fun treble would have placed had we stuck with Bossofthebrownies instead of Minella Post (two selections in the same race) but thats racing it’s all coulda, shoulda, woulda…lol.
There is not much on today and we are still playing catch up on the data base for the new year which has been two years in the planning so we will concentrate on that for now.

Well its getting better Insurrection was not a bet Colcannon was a non runner this left Young Lucy which placed at 7-1 Big Stage lost but the each way double on Young Lucy and Ballybwan Belter placed which means we came out with a squeak of a profit today.

Apologies for not listing race or time yesterday but it was more of an after thought and was a race to watch race than a bet. The race was the 12.20 at Leopardstwon and the top two Kaid d’Authie and Koktail Divin both look useful prospects for the future.
