MikeKeymasterHi
Rob had Jesse Evans placed at 12-1 and could have been so much more, but would still have seen Rob live to fight another day which is the art of the game.Β π I will pop this one in the notebook should he return to hurdling. It would also be interesting to see if he makes the cut for the Ten To Follow competition for the jumps season.Β π
MikeKeymasterHi Rob
I am interested enough to have stopped cutting my hedges and switched on to have a look. π
The money seems to be going on the yards other runner Final Voyage which stands the trainer form argument in good stead but if both run a decent race the now 16-1 for 9 places and/or 19-1 for 8 places on Lustown Baba looks worth a punt.
MikeKeymasterHi Rob
To be honest Kitty Galore is one we follow and has done the thread proud over the last few years winning at 22-1 without the favourite back in 2020 and is in theΒ Archived thread, then at 12-1 last year. It was just a question of waiting until she runs off a decent weight as she tends to be a tough heart on her sleeve front runner and I love those types. π
As for your two selections, you do love delving into the most difficult races, that to be honest I find a little to comlicated and would normally sidestep. π But I do like the look of Jesse Evans. I just missed the 14-1 with bet 365 but managed catch the 11-1 still on offer.
The intriguing one for me is Lustown Baba I cannot see anything obvious here but this only serves to make me even more interested. π I will now having looked through the card plump for Andreas Vesalius at 17-2 for 6 places and will watch the race with interest. If I find anything else on Lustown Baba I might be tempted to have a dabble at the 14-1 for 9 places and/or the 17-1 for 8 places with bet365 as it is a tough race.
MikeKeymasterHi Joe
I will have to settle for the 17-2 on today’s winner Kitty Galore but such is life. Reenroe Beach all but pulled up and I have no idea what went wrong, but maybe the reports in the morning will shed some light.
We did clear a tidy +8.2 point profit for the day which brings us back up to +11.6 for the month. π
There is no racing (for obvious reasons) over the weekend and I will probably have to wait until Sligo next Wednesday before I can dip my toe in the water again.
MikeKeymasterHi
I am not sure whether the racing will go ahead at Ballinrobe tomorrow but here are my selections.5.35 Kitty Galore @ 17-2 for 4 places (BOG)
7.35 The Reenroe Beach @ 11-1 (BOG)Kitty Galore is an old favourite and previous winner for us and if fit enough after her layoff looks well treated on her return to hurdling. The Reenroe Beach did not set the world alight on debut but is of interest with Jamie Codd booked for the ride.
MikeKeymasterHi
No joy with either bet yesterday and after a decent enough start we have now dropped to only +3.4 points up for the month. We will only have the one opportunity this week which will be Ballinrobe on Friday. Otherwise it will be back to the football or possibly an early look at the Cheltenham Festival ante post bets or Ten To Follow options for November.Β π
MikeKeymasterHi
Marelly at 16-1 without Hubriska and John Cannon.
Macilgoney at 9-1 without The Shunter and Shewearsitwell.
Look the best options
MikeKeymasterHi
We have two to look at over at Galway tomorrow which are as follows.4.10 Marelly 50-1
5.15 Macilgoney 20-1We will be looking for an extra place or a bet without the favourite/s in the extra markets so will update the thread in the morning. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Grangeclare Native missed out by one place and Kayla’s Delight lost which was a -4 point loss but both the bets on Wellington Hill came in which means we still ended up +7.4 points up on the day.
I am having a few issues with some attempted hacks and account problems so I will have to give todays threads a miss whilst I try to sort the issues out. π But all bets that were placed on the site last night for theΒ Beat The Lotto (Β£) thread etc still stand. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Moyode Mist is now a non runner but we have taken the 24-1 for 7 places on Wellington Hill with an option on 33-1 for 6 places if you feel brave.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have a hatful of options at Kilbeggan for tomorrow which are as follows4.30 Moyode Mist 66-1
5.30 Wellington Hill 100-1
6.00 Kayla’s Delight @ 33-1 for 5 places
6.30 Grangleclare Native @ 14-1 for 4 placesThe first two runners are on hold until we can obtain each way extra prices in the morning.
MikeKeymasterHi
Although not a winner for you Joe I did late on get 50-1 for 5 places as an each way extra on bet 365 so for a change I owe you one.Β π
Although tailed off at the back throughout and never likely to trouble the judge Earth Spirit did plod on to run through tired horses at the end of the race to place fifth.
I still have nothing of note until Friday so will switch to the football for the next few nights.
MikeKeymasterHi
Phew.. we finally broke that streak of bad luck with Keep D Change our banker bet getting the all important 7th place and bringing in both bets for a +4.2 point profit.
The icing on the cake was that Ask The Leader came in to win at 9-1 (advised last night at 12-1) and although I Don’t Get It did not place, even if you had done both you would still have had a nice day at the office. π
There is nothing of note for me tomorrow but it is nice to get back on track and finish the month in style.
MikeKeymasterHi
Whilst I would not put anyone off backing either of the selections in the 2.20 at there current prices for 4 places I am still waiting for better than 4 places if possible.
As for the Keep D Change in the 1.50 11-1 for 8 places and 13-1 for 7 places look the best options. -
