MikeKeymasterHi
Boredom has set in and although we have the Irish Hurdling returning next week we have spotted one of ours running today at Cartmel. It was not worth taking a punt last night at the price etc but this morning is a different story.3.50 Come On The Lads @ 4-1 for 4 places (Sky)
MikeKeymasterHi
Here we go again and if we could match last weeks results I would more than happy with that…Chelsea to beat Benfica @ 11-10
Andrew Putnam to win the Rocket Classic @ 7-1
Curragh 1.15 Dorset @ 5-6
Curragh 2.20 Suzie Songs @ 15-8
Curragh 3.30 Whirl @ 15-8
Curragh 4.35 Silver Chamber @ 7-2The lottery numbers will be 4,7,16,23,26 and 50
MikeKeymasterHi
Although it is nice to have a few weeks off whilst the Irish NH racing takes it’s sabbatical, whilst updating our data base with Suds this thread was mentioned and the trainer Cian Collins name cropped up. I had been looking at this trainer myself and although I will not be putting any bets up on here as it is Sudsie’a thread I would not put anyone off looking closely at the horses he is taking over to Cartmel this Friday and Sunday.
MikeKeymasterHi
No complaints again last weekend as we managed 4 winners and another win in the competition.Scottie Schefler to win the Travellers @ 1-1
Ascot 2.30 Treanmor @ 11-8
Ascot 3.05 Rebel’s Romance @ 9-4 Won
Newmarket 4.25 Curran @ 7-2 Won
Down Royal 5.10 Billie Frechette @ 3-1 Won
Ascot 6.10 Sober @ 4-5 WonI still get the feeling that we are knocking on the door for a bigger win here but only time will tell.
MikeKeymasterHi Hopefull
As the Irish NH Racing is on its natural break during Royal Ascot the threads have been a bit quiet but we will be back filling in the gaps soon. As for the thread itself any thread that stays onside and especially those are still in profit are worth there weight in gold.
MikeKeymasterHi
Here we go again no great outsiders this week but a solid six.Scottie Schefler to win the Travellers @ 1-1
Ascot 2.30 Treanmor @ 11-8
Ascot 3.05 Rebel’s Romance @ 9-4
Newmarket 4.25 Curran @ 7-2
Down Royal 5.10 Billie Frechette @ 3-1
Ascot 6.10 Sober @ 4-5The lottery numbers will be 4,7,16,23,26 and 50
MikeKeymasterHi
That was a little better as we managed to get three winners in and the other three all were in the mix but could’nt quite get home.Sandown 1.30 Watching Stars @ 9-4 (Second)
Chester 1.35 Calico Blue @ 9-4 Won
Bath 4.15 Warm Glow @ 5-2 (Third)
Chester 5.05 Giselles Defence @ 7-2 (Second)
Uttoxeter 8.10 Another Lord @ 4-1 Won
PSG to beat Athletico Madrid @ 5-6 WonBut it was another win in the competition so no complaints at the end of the day.
MikeKeymasterHi
That was a bad day at the office as although Hillstar Blues had drifted by the time I got to it unfortunately it did not help and between the two we dropped a whopping -12 points today plus -1.5 the day before and we now stand at only +106.85 points.
Fortunately we have a break in the racing for the rest of the week so can hopefully I will have finished tidying the site up and get back on track next week. We have added an Articles section and I have feeling there will be one very soon on Jockeys not running to the line…lol. For those who did not see the race I would be surprised if Hillstar Blues jockey did not pick up a seven day ban for the ride. The official comment and I quote “tenderly handled run in, lost third final stride”.
MikeKeymasterHi
It’s “Hats Off” to Sudsie today as with our usual BOG attached via bet365 on singles Suds had 20-1 winner with Jonny Mansie and a 12-1 place with Long Gone. I will let Suds update the running total as I believe it is on a spreadsheet somewhere. ?
We will be back to our respective threads soon enough as we now have a free week to play catch up as there is no Irish racing on the horizon.
MikeKeymasterHi
As Suds is taking over the Ridiculous Ideas for 2025 thread for a while it will give me a chance to play catch up on the threads. We have deliberately bypassed today’s selections on here but will list tomorrows over at Kilbeggan which look a little more promising. In the meantime Sudsie will be looking to link our data base to this thread.5.13 Graigstar @ 8-1
5.48 Jonny Mansie @ 15-2 for 6 places
6.18 Tackletommywoowoo 3-1 for 5 places
6.48 I Love My Baie 7-2 4 places
6.48 Long Gone @ 12-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
There is also a new addition to the list unfortunately in the same race and not looking the most likely winner but the system is the system so here goes.Kilbeggan 5.13 Prince Inger 25-1 (bet 365)
MikeKeymasterHi.. Thanks Sudsie !
I have been a bit tied up with tidying up the website and Sudsie will be posting the selections for this thread from time to time now and I will just update the progress. Young Churchill and Leitzel are already non runners but the remaining two (at present) look likely to run but with BOG attached do not worry if they drift out. I say that because I am never sure how the ground can be waterlogged the night before and go to “Good to Yielding” the next morning. So there could well be some strange market moves or further non runners before the off.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have decided to shelve this thread in the update as we are getting very few selections and as you can see a lot of those are ending up as non runners. It is a thread we may kick in again at a later stage when our “Irish Hurdler” data base matures. The reasoning being that at present the data base only goes to 6yo’s with the majority being younger horses and obviously it is the older horses that tend to go chasing.
MikeKeymasterHi
Here we go with this weeks magnificent six.Sandown 1.30 Watching Stars @ 9-4
Chester 1.35 Calico Blue @ 9-4
Bath 4.15 Warm Glow @ 5-2
Chester 5.05 Giselles Defence @ 7-2
Uttoxeter 8.10 Another Lord @ 4-1
PSG to beat Athletico Madrid @ 5-6This weeks lottery numbers will be 4,7,16,23,26 and 50
