MikeKeymasterHi
With no runners going today and it being the last day of the month Rob will win the March Competition. Again it was a tight run affair with Rob and Suds fighting it out at the end but amazingly disappointing that there were very few winners at the festival. ??Rob +45.25
Suds + 41.74
Andy +39.15
Joe +39.15
Mgame +20.52
Steve +16.38
Moi +9.5Overall Mgame now has the lead thanks to Constitution Hill’s exploits on the flat and apologies for the minor hiccup on not updating the scores for that one but my excel sheet had originally not allowed for that scenario…lol.
Mgame +213.95
Joe +211.73
Suds +186.11
Rob +183.21As for the side cash competition Rob picks up another £5 bet for winning the March competition and as there was no stand out winner for the amount of wins Andy picks up a £5 free bet as he was in the mix and has been so close it only seems fair. There is no prize per say for winning the competition but hope fully this will encourage a few rival sites to join in next time we run one.
Suds +31.88
Mgame +16.25
Rob 2x unused £5 bets
Andy 1x £5 unused free bet
Joe 1x £5 unused free betNow the competition finishes at the end of April so use your £5 free bets by then those who have already got into profit can stick or play again and have the option of splitting there stakes.
MikeKeymasterHi
Take Stock has now drifted out to a more reasonable 7-1 for 4 places but I will look at this from another angle, which is that the yards top jockey Keith Donaghue has switched back to Take Stock for his first attempt over the longer distance indicating some confidence in him getting the trip. The yards other runner Bergamasco is now ridden by Eion Staples a to follow jockey of ours which with his 5lb claim and the revamped weights gives the selection a massive chance of reversing the form with Lough Nigara.
With this in mind I am going in with a 1 point bet builder at 13-5 on both finishing in the top 5.
MikeKeymasterHi
Mgame had Constitution Hill but the +4.14 points won is not going to effect the positions so I will wait the few extra days before totaling at end of the month.
MikeKeymasterHi
Another “To Follow” horse a non runner coupled with another two dropped points in the other markets is looking like a a point well taken but I did say I would persevere with the idea of expanding on last years system so will continue along those lines for the time being.
We are now down to +18. 24 and could do with a return but with Take Stock being the only selection tomorrow and being again just an extra markets horse I will be looking to get a better price then currently available before considering a wager.
MikeKeymasterHi
Whilst we got a couple in again last week with the Irish Jumps season running down and and international break on in the football we thought lets try something different.Ospreys +9.5 to beat Connacht @ 10-11
Stratford 2.15 Junker D’allier @ 11-4
Scotland to beat Japan @ 11-5
GS Warriors -13 to beat WAS Wizards 10-11
Moses Itauma to win by KO against Jermaine Franklin @ 15-8
Nicolai Hojgaard to win the Houston Open @ 18-1Six sports….what could possibly go wrong. ?
The lotto numbers remain the same 4,7,16,23,26 & 50
MikeKeymasterHi Steve
You must be feeling the world and it’s mother are against you lately. ? All three selections this month have all been so close. !Corniche Girl 10-1 3rd (missed out in a three way finish with less than a length separating all three)
Accustomed 16-1 2nd (close but after over 2 1/2 miles misses out by less than a length)
Take The Boat 10-1 (looked all all over the winner approaching the line to go down by a short head)All three were profitable each way wagers and I am sure it will not be long before the tide turns in your favor.
MikeKeymasterHi
My main bet the to follow horse Loi De Jeux is a non runner as is Humble Brag which leaves us with just the one bet Anodandawink from last night. With this in mind I will go in with Seeitoldya but at 21-2 for 7 places in the 3.42 as the extra markets option albeit a chase race.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have one last one for tonight which is Anodandawink as we can get 25-1 for 5 places and I do not think we will get much better than that especially as bet 365 are now going 12-1. This one will just be 1/2 point each way as it is not from the to follow list.
MikeKeymasterHi
Having thrown in another add on bet builder which wiped out most of the winnings on the original a few days back and then had two straight losses we are now back down to +20.24 which is not ideal.
But we finally have a few chances to redeem the situation tomorrow at Clonmel.
3.42 Seeitoldya 33-1 (Chase option)
5.12 Loi De Jeux 1.5 points each way @ 6-1 for 5 places (To Follow)
5.12 Anodandawink 25-1
5.42 Humble Brag 5-1
We have gone straight in with Loi De Jeux as it is our “To Follow” horse and will update on the others when the extra markets become available. We do hope to include a bet builder in the 5.12.
MikeKeymasterHi Rob
An interesting proposition but… I think you are right as a year or so ago I might have taken you up on that but not now.
I do however like the look of Roadlesstravelled tonight who missed the break when well beaten by Constitution Hill at Southwell. I do not think Roadlesstravelled was given a hard time (when the chance had gone) has a few pounds in his favor and should get closer. Add in Classical Allusion and Serviceman and you have the following options.
Bet builder @ 13-8
Constitution Hill to win
Roadlesstravelled, Allusion & Serviceman all top 4
Long shot special with Paddy Power @ 10-1
Constitution Hill 1st
Allusion 2nd
Roadlesstravelled 3rd
Serviceman 4th
MikeKeymasterHi
A Snow White Park ran no sort of race as such and the same might be the case tomorrow at Limerick as we have another last chance saloon selection but we have to try this idea out.2.23 Dream Shaper 66-1 but we have gone with 1/2 point e/w at 14-1 for 7 places
This one looks another no hoper but now dropping back in trip running off 85 plus a claim it is I believe now or never time.
MikeKeymasterHi Rob
Now you have it down to 7 the possibilities open up for all the “Extra Markets” and I for one will be looking for the bet builder here. But if as I suspect there will be 7 places offered on the day it could be the perfect storm.
MikeKeymasterHi
Here we go again with this weeks super six…?Ospreys +7.5 to beat Benetton @ 10-11
Bangor 1.07 Mossy Fen Coolio @ 5-4
Newbury 1.15 Kocktail Bleu @ 11-10
Kelso 2.10 Khrisma @ 5-4
Kelso 3.48 Eagles Reprieve @ 15-8
Newbury 4.10 Kotmask @ 15-8The lottery numbers will be the usual 4,7,16,23,26 & 50.
MikeKeymasterHi
With Suds and Steve being the only ones to get some in last week it was a no score draw and hopefully we will do better this week. I will update the thread and fill in the blanks at 9pm as usual when I know who is playing. -
