A pretty good day at the office yesterday with all four selections giving us a return.
1.35 Showman 40-1 SP placed fourth (but placed as the bet was without the favourite which came second)
Unfortunately I could not get back on but prices were available between 16-1 and 20-1 during the day.
2.45 The Four Sixes placed (close up fourth) at 12-1 advised 14-1
3.20 Light Parade placed fourth at 10-1 advised at 22-1
We will be back for Roscommon tomorrow with a few selections and will also be restarting the Ten To Follow thread after our claim to fame mention in the Racing Post last year. 🙂

A few changes to the site this morning while we try to stop the false logins but business hopefully as normal over at Listowel
1.35 Showman @ 20-1

We will be looking for a bet without the favourite/s in the 1.35 especially betting without Ninth Loch as that one could be the real deal, but we will take what we can get.

Last week was another disaster with both teams being wiped out even though all of the bets only missed out by a goal or a couple of points. 🙁
This week we will go with the following options

Wales-1 to beat Australia at 1-1
Ninth Loch @ 11-10
Jordan Smith @ 6-5 Cazoo Open (golf)
Man United to beat Burnley + over 2 goals @ 5-4
Brentford to beat Everton @ 5-6
West Ham to draw or win against Liverpool @ 7-4

These will be our usual win trebles plus an acca and hopefully we will do a little better than last week. 🙂
The lottery numbers are as follows 4,7,16,23,31 and 50.

 
We have had a few issues with false new accounts so this part of the site will be closed for approx seven days to see if we can solve the issue that way.

I have had a note asking about the “few more prices” available in the 1.35 this refers to the fact that we have used 20-1 for 9 places on Due Course for the site but would no put anyone off taking the 25-1 for 8 places etc etc that we may have personally taken. 🙂
Volantis has already been backed down to 5-1 so we might be on one there but only time will tell. 🙂

We were quite keen on Princess Sophia who unfortunately had a bad hair day refused to line up and started a bit behind the rest of the field 🙁 so we will keep her in our to follow folder for the time being.

We have a problem in that the going has not been changed since the overnight rain at Navan but assuming it is going to Yeilding to Soft today we will go with the following which have been taken from our Computer tips (fun) thread.

Now that was a good day at the office with Gladatorial coming second but as we had taken our bet without the Gwen Tadgh then Gladatorial became a 6-1 winner. Fassbender was the same bet but at 5-1 so wiped his nose on the day. Chancer Dancer placed @ 5-1 so broke even as well.
Dorans River won at 7-1 (we missed last nights advised 10-1 waiting on the weather reports). Western Dreaming our each way extra bet also came in and the each way treble on Gwan Tadgh, Tomas O’Maille and Ballybawn Belter also came in with both Gwen Tadgh and Ballybawn Belter winning. 🙂
Fairyhill Run was the only let down on the day but although only a +20 point profit today, trust me its days like these you live for. 🙂 🙂

I know a few people do not like the new way we do things on this thread but just look at the above results and I hope you will be swayed into staying with the site.

As promised our next batch of selections are here for the handicap races all taken today from our Computer tips (fun) at both the Irish NH meetinge today. We have deliberately left posting them until this morning due to the adverse weather conditins of late and will give a final update about an hour or so before the meeting starts.
But here were our conclusions as of 9pm last night listing only the each way priced selections
Downpatrick 2.50 4 places
Gladitorial 8-1
Fassbender 8-1
Downpatrick 3.15 4 places
Chancer Dancer 5-1
Ballinrobe 4.15 5 places
Dorans River 10-1
Ballinrobe 4.50 4 places
Fairyhill Run 16-1
Return To Base 7-1

The others of note were Gwan Tadgh in the 2.50 Downpatrick and Tomas O’Maille 7-2 4.15 Ballinrobe  and Ballybawn Belter 3-1 all (short in price) but could well be a nice each way treble with the extra places available. Western Dreaming 50-1 has been taken at 19-1 for 8 places.
