I did mention that Suds (Clarence) was having a decent week and that proved dividends today when Sudsie put up a 35-1 winning tip over on the Royal Ascot thread with Khaadem. 🙂

Well I had another tight finish in Apollo One for second and another two place returns with Thunderbear and Coco Jack which left me +3.2 points up for the day and just over a point up for the Ascot meeting which as it was flat racing I will settle for. Pyledriver won but the as he was the only winner from the treble he doesnt count on here.  🙁
However I will now hand over the reins to the new flat race champion Suds (Clarence) who not only also had Thunderbear and Coco Jack but also came up trumps with Khaadem who won at a massive 35-1.
For anyone who took the SP the odds would have been 80-1 but this at any price was fantastic shout and well done. Sudsie.  🙂
This meant that on the final day of Royal Ascot Suds picked up a profit of +43.40 points and finished the meeting a whopping +51.10 points up having not backed a favourite all week.  🙂

I had HMS President come second in a tight finish but with only the one place return on the day means I dropped a point and am now a couple of points down with one day to go. 🙁
However hats off to Suds (Clarence) who had the following results on the day
2.30 mapmaker 17/1 for 9 places lost -2
3.05 shouldhavebeenaring 23/2 for 7 places +1.3
3.40 jack darcy 20/1 for 9 places NR
5.00 sparks fly 26/1 for 10 places NR
6.10 can to can 33/1 for 10 places +5.6
This means Suds ended up +4.9 points up on the day and with only one day to go is now +7.9 points up on the week. 🙂 I will post my no hopers below and await tomorrows winners from Suds with bated breath.
2.30 Maymay 50-1 but I have taken 22-1 for 9 places
3.05 Thunderbear 33-1 we have gone 15-1 for 8 places
5.00 Apollo One @ 14-1 for 8 places
5.35 Coco Jack 50-1 we are going 22-1 for 8 places
The following three have been taken as an each way treble
3.40 Kinross @ 8-1 for 5 places
4.20 Pyledriver @ 7-1

There are still no bets on this thread as the Irish NH season is all but finished at this time of year but it will resume soon and there will still be the odd meeting from time to time. 🙂
However over on our temporary Royal Ascot thread Suds (Clarence) is having a decent week for those looking for a bit of fun on the flat. 🙂

Interesting both of todays place returns were the two that both Suds and I went for namely Thunder Blue and Lumerie Rock. However when you work out the returns Suds came out with a +1.00 point profit on the day whereas I dropped 2.00 points.  🙁
Going into day three this puts me on a small deficeit but Suds is now +3 points up after two days.
I have the following suggestions for day three which are as follows

3.40 HMS President @ 20-1 for 6 places
5.00 Polly Pot @ 50-1 for 8 places
6.10 Harry Brown @ 12-1 for 6 places

I think we will call that a score draw as Suds Farhh To Shy beat my Golden Spice but Ouzo beat Point Lynas so its all to play for tomorrow. The good news is that Suds (oops Clarence) is now +2 points up and I ended up +3.6 points which also puts the thread back in profit for me.
With this in mind I am going for a hatful over at tomorrow which are as follows

2.30 Thunder Blue 40-1 but I am taking 14-1 for 8 places
3.30 Lumiere Rock 33-1 best bet looks to 15-1 for 9 places
5.00 Finn’s Charm 50-1 but we are on at 21-1 for 10 places
5.35 Killybegs Warrior 80-1 we have taken 33-1 for 8 places
6.10 Redarna 100-1 but we grabbed a tasty looking 70-1 for 10 places

We had a place return of +3.80 points on Jeje Plessis and Lucky Two ended up a non runner so it turned out to be another profitable day. There is nothing on here for tomorrow so we will head over to the Royal Ascot thread for a bit of fun on the flat.

5.20 Jeje Plessis 66-1 but we have taken 19-1 for 7 places
5.55 Lucky Two 100-1 but we are on at 33-1 for 7 places

Now you know why I do not dabble on the flat 🙂
Charyn was placed at 40-1 but with the other bets all going down we would have lost -3 points on the day had we used these on our daily thread.
We will though have a dabble tomorrow using the following two just to see if we cannot broing the thread back on track as we have our pride at stake. 🙂

I just saw that Joe when I got in the winner had a very similar rating to our selection but the form was not available last night and is still not available in detail now. 🙁
As for our selection in the 4.35 Robin Elite lost but Emily In Paris came a fighting second and Punters Poet grabbed fifth but after deductions for non runners in that race the day ended up neither here nor there.
We have nothing of note for tomorrow (at present) but will keep you informed if this changes.
