MikeKeymasterHi G π
Nice to have you drop by again, trust you to go rogue with the selections. !
Thats the fourth line down, I have another couple of possible entries in the pipeline and will wait until Monday/Tuesday before filling in the blanks. π
MikeKeymasterHi
As we drew our first blank today with Marronstown just missing out it was inevitable that we were going to get the obvious query over why we posted a banker bet Brighterdaysahead (which won) on the Joe’s dream punt thread but had not advised this as a tip on this thread. The reasons are twofold and have been explained on here a while ago. Firstly we use this site to give non favourite backers the opportunity to have a punt without risking large bucks on short priced horses. Secondly we give the private tips out which tend to be short priced to the people who engage on the site and support/or have supported the site in one way or another.
I feel your pain if you miss one but try joining in we have free competitions every so often and you might just get lucky. π
MikeKeymasterHi
We have all of are selections drifting in the market this morning which is never a good thing but we will stick to our guns as we have B.O.G (Best Odds Guaranteed) on all of our bets so far. π
This has given us an opportunity to have a look at Marronstown though as this one has drifted out to 40-1 and is now avaialable at 14-1 betting without both Better Days Ahead and Nas Na Riogh.
All bets are as usual 1 point each way and we will be updating the thread and possibly re-archiving sooner than later as I prepare to retire and spend more time on the site re-vamp. π
MikeKeymasterHi
It would appear the old “Error your message cannot be created at this time” message has re-appeared apologies if anyone has had this π just try typing “Hi” or something similar we will hopefully spot the problem accounts and upgrade them. It would appear it has something to do with the length of the post but…?
The tech department is working on it. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Purse Price was nearly a realy good shout but unfortunately fell when in contention for the lead at the last fence. π But such is life. π
As for tomorrow we head over to Down Royal where we have a few options, which are as follows
12.17 Marronstown 18-1
12.52 Falvio @ 12-1 for 6 places
1.27 Jetara @ 8-1
We will update the thread on Marronstown tomorrow π
MikeKeymasterHi
I am working today so will not get much of a chance to update the thread so we have gone in with Purse Price as a straight each way bet. π
MikeKeymasterHi
The ground is a big concern at Clonmel tomorrow but we have a couple of tentative suggestions
1.05 Purse Price @ 10-1
1.40 Bois De Clamart 33-1 but we have gone with 17-1 for 6 places with bet365.
Purse Price is up against it tomorrow and we will update the thread later to see if we can get an extra place or bet without the favourite before we go in.
MikeKeymasterHi Perry (Rkay)
Well they all have a leg in each corner, that’s always a good start. π
That’s three lines now and we still have a week to go but as I hope to enter the lines at the start of next week, it would be wise to let me know by Monday if you wish to join in the competition. I will be checking for horses that have been scratched from the competition on Tuesday so your lines can still be edited next week should the need arise. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Today was a going day with 4x place returns and 2 non runners we ended up with a tidy little +9.30 point profit on the day.Β π
2.38 Golden Temple 12-1 Placed at 13-2 betting without the favourite/s
2.13 Roderick 150-1 but we have gone with 24-1 for 10 places Placed
2.13 Another Red Cat 150-1 and again we have gone with 24-1 for 10 places Placed
2.13 Viceregent 16-1 Non Runner
3.23 Western Model @ 12-1 for 5 places Placed
3.58 Will It Be You @ 8-1 for 5 places Non RunnerThere is nothing for tomorrow but we will hopefully have something at Clonmel on Thursday
MikeKeymasterHi
Golden Temple is available at 13-2 betting without both Eagle Fang and Fratas but Viceregent is now a non runner.
The ground is not looking great but most of our other selections should handle the conditions.
MikeKeymasterHi
It’s over to Fairyhouse tomorrow for the following
1.38 Golden Temple 12-1
2.13 Roderick 150-1 but we have gone with 24-1 for 10 places
2.13 Another Red Cat 150-1 and again we have gone with 24-1 for 10 places
2.13 Viceregent 16-1
3.23 Western Model @ 12-1 for 5 places
3.58 Will It Be You @ 8-1 for 5 places
We will be waiting for the extra markets before dabbling on Golden Temple and Viceregent as we are looking to bet without the favourite/s
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
That looks like a decent enough shout to get you over the 400 point mark this year and as a total novice punter last year it was a cracking first effort. To date the record points total for our members is held by Rob (Robmull) who hit 601.31 points with GeeSport and myself hitting 534.64 and 563.66 respectively a decent points total is achievable. We will do the same as last year and wait to see who else enters before finalising the lines.
For those who have not played before it costs members nothing to enter and you will receive a minimum of 40% of any prize money that your line wins with a 10% share going to the site and and even share going to all the other lines entered. There will hopefully be the usual monthly prizes of around the Β£5,000 mark and the the overall prize total at the end of the competition has been known to go over the Β£100,000. But the prize money is determined by the amount of entries and we will let you know when the prize fund is published. Please remember you will going up against professional tiptsers in this competition but a few years ago we did manage a finishing position of 484 out of 58,845 entries, so who knows. π -
