I will have another look as well now that the Club Rugby is back. The Six Nations is fun to do but so unpredictable. 🙁 That’s no offense to Italy who played a blinder but if you played that game again tomorrow I would still be thinking France by at least 15 points. The fact that they were -35 in the prematch handicap was nuts.

After a terrible run of luck having a 25-1 win on Noble Birth just about restores your faith. 🙂
This brought in a nice +26 point profit on this thread and more importantly a whopping +56 point profit on the Mike’s Retirement Plan thread and makes for a great day at the office. 🙂 🙂

This betting game is strange old affair. I have had the worst run of luck over the last few days as mentioned in the previous post. Added to which I crashed out on the rival retirement plan in the Goalposts thread yesterday by missing just one of the ten options listed in the bet.
I then do two today the first one loses and I literally cannot be asked to watch the last race and Noble Birth romps home at 16-1 advised at 25-1.
This brings our running total to a very healthy looking +87.75 points but the next bet has to a minimum 9 point layout to keep the rolling maul going. There is nothing on the horizon until Thursday but we will be back. 🙂

I had two over at Naas last night taken from the Winning Post Tips thread to choose from and did not know which one to go for so with the way my luck has been going this weekend 🙁 I flipped a coin. 🙂
It landed sideways 🙁 Its been one of those weeks Chris Gotterup was tied for seventh when he pulled out injured. Glen Kiln fell two out when vying for the lead and Wales conceded a try against a 14 man Ireland in the last minute to lose our handicap bet by one point. 🙁
So we will take that as a hint and split todays bet between both and go 2 points each way which will use up our 8 point wager.
1.55 Bossofthebus 250-1 but we have taken the 40-1 for 10 places
3.55 Noble Birth @ 25-1 for 5 places

That was better and worth the wait. Shana Cloon placed third wiping its nose and Pax came fourth so both bets on that came in giving us a profit on the day of just over +5 points.
We are going over to Thurles tomorrow for this one which we will take on tonight.

Pax placed fourth and by using up our 7 point option (at 3.5 points each way) gave us a return of 14.70 which left us with a nice enough +7.70 profit on the day. This means our current running total is now at +31.75 but the next bet has to be an 8 pointer.

For those who picked up on last nights post we might be on one here Pax was 80-1 last night and is being backed off the boards this morning. We have taken the 16-1 for 10 places and 20-1 for 9 places for the thread but wish we had taken the 80-1 now. That said the horse still has to run, the meeting still has to go ahead and the horse still has to finish the race in the top 3 to get 80-1 whereas finishing 9th or better I would be happy with….lol.

Another non runner in Whale Harbour and even though Jasmin De Cotte only managed midfield it is still frustrating that we cannot get a run with our selections.
We do have high hopes of the meeting going ahead at Punchestown tomorrow where we will be looking at the following selctions subject to the extra markets.

Chris Gotterup could only manage a last round finish the last time we backed him and we have bypassed him the last twice. But this weeks Mexican Open has him at 100-1 for 6 places with Skybet and that has to be worth a punt.
