MikeKeymasterHi
Apologies for not listing race or time yesterday but it was more of an after thought and was a race to watch race than a bet. The race was the 12.20 at Leopardstwon and the top two Kaid d’Authie and Koktail Divin both look useful prospects for the future.
As for today we are again a bit behind but have a target race plus a fun each way treble which all over at Leopardstown12.10 Bossofthebrownies 25-1 but 9-1 for 5 places
12.10 Minella Post @ 16-1 but we will use this one on at 9-2 without both Argento Boy and I Am Lorenzo
12.45 Young Lucy @ 7-1 for 4 places
1.55 Ballybawn Belter @ 15-2 for 5 places
MikeKeymasterHi
Another decent start yesterday when Poppa Poutine placed at 16-1 which again keeps the interest going and this change of tack might just be the edge needed. ?
We have an interesting situation today in that whilst chatting (e-mailing) with Hopefull it was mentioned that there would an alternative option to Big Stage by way of Ballybawn Belter in the 1.55 at Leopardstown. I will be cheeky and give this bet the kiss of death by putting up this each way double.Leopardstown 12.45 Young Lucy @ 8-1 for 4 places
Leopardstown 1.55 Ballybawn Belter @ 11-2 for 6 placesBallybawn Belter was discussed but probably for a different reason Young Lucy was of interest to me as it rare to see Rachael Blackmore booked for a different yard.
MikeKeymasterHi
Just out of interest we have an interesting little race coming up that we noticed when updating the sheets this morning. The race is more of a watching with interest race than a betting one but we believe this race could produce one or more to follow horses.
Van Demon 50-1 is already one our to follow horses and the 17-1 for 5 places looks the shout but we will be using him as a standard to see what beats him home.
MikeKeymasterHi
We cannot give the game away with our private bets but if you are looking for a bit of fun you could do worse than try a long shot win treble @ approx 65-1 onNewbury 1.12 The Good Doctor @ 5-2
Leicester 1.25 Nine Nine Nine @ 11-4 without both Latenightrumble and Superbolt
Leicester 3.10 Invincible Nao @ 4-1Alternatively a placepot over at Newbury using1,8,3,1,3 and 5 is also a worth a punt with an estimated £100,000 up for grabs
MikeKeymasterHi
A mixed bag of results yesterday Kanpai pulled up but Alright Darling placed 8th at 35-4 when 9th would have done. Aero’s Luck lost but the fog means I cant tell what happened. But Rose Boum placed 4th at 20-1 and made sure we came out of the day just ahead of the game.
We have a few options with the Irish Hurdlers today but will spend most of the day playing catch up on the data base so will give today a miss on this thread. But for those looking for a bet we had a cracking result on the Winning Post Tips thread with our “boxing day bankers” and will throw another wager down there from our private tips just to keep the threads active.
MikeKeymasterHi
Unfortunately we missed the boat for this weeks competition as we are busy preparing for the new 2025 threads but will try and throw a spare game in midweek for the New Year.
MikeKeymasterHi
A decent enough start with Holly Hartingo nearly working the oracle for the elusive win but a decent enough place at 14-1 stopped the day becoming a wipe out and we still have a few days to go before balancing the books at the end of the year.Catterick 1.33 Berliot Express @ 14-1
Newbury 2.20 Poppa Poutine @16-1 for 4 places
Newbury 3.35 Sea Invasion @ 8-1
Southwell 3.45 Shaw Park @ 25-1 for 4 places
Newcastle 6.00 Angel Of England @ 12-1 for 4 places
Southwell 7.15 Ring Of Gold @ 12-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
We were not sure where to place these as they are the new trials for the 2025 handicap thread but as they are taken from the Irish Hurdler database we will throw them in here for now.Leopardstown 2.20 Aero’s Luck @ 20-1 for 6 places
Limerick 2.36 Rose Boum @ 20-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
Mr Incredible refused so it was money back with most bookmakers. (phew)
However the “boxing day bankers” sensible option made a whopping +47.28 point profit if you had followed the advised each way doubles and each way treble.Down Royal 12.48 St Denis’s Well @ 9-2 for 6 places Won
Leopardstown 1.45 Arch Enemy @ 7-1 for 6 places Placed
Kempton 2.30 Banbridge @ 5-1 for 4 places WonWe are over the moon with this as it was going to be the last hurrah for 2024 on this thread and it was a nice way to go out. I know the e-mails will be be coming in again as to why we stopped this thread but as explained before we are not a tipping site and it is most frustrating when we do all the work and less than 2% of the site visitors contribute to the threads. 🙁
MikeKeymasterHi
Well one non runner in You Played Well, Telnobody crashed out early doors and Shadow Paddy grabbed 10th we needed 9th.
Not a disaster but could do better goes on the report card. 🙁
We do have a few options for tomorrow namely
Limerick 3.11 Kanpai 50-1 but 21-2 for 10 places looks safe with 14-1 for 9 the option.
Limerick 12.19 Alright Darling 100-1 but the extra market prices are to low at present.
MikeKeymasterHi
We are struggling to get one in here but will persevere with this thread until the new year as it still has potential. Unfortunately the option B wagers are once again limited but lets hope the following will help us get back on track.
Kempton 1.20 Holly Hartingo @ 14-1
Chepstow 2.10 Rickety Bridge @ 12-1
Chepstow 2.50 The Newest One @ 14-1 for 6 places
Chepstow 3.25 Feel The Pinch @ 66-1
Wolverhampton 8.00 Ashford Hill @ 16-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
Although no return on the lotto ticket at least we can claim another win in the competition as we pulled a treble out of the bag even if it did include a void bet…lol.Down Royal 12.48 St Denis’s Well @ 4-1 Won
Aintree 1.05 Celtic Dino @ 6-1
Leopardstown 1.10 Naturally Nimble @ 5-1
Wetherby 1.35 Mr Incredible @ 16-1 without Cruz Control and Tahmuras Void
Leopardstown 1.45 Arch Enemy @ 7-1
Kempton 2.30 Banbridge @ 3-1 without both Spillanes Tower and Grey Dawning WonThis means we wiped our nose on the wager and live to fight another day (in this case Saturday) 🙂
MikeKeymasterHi
A quick first day update see’s Valheim go to the lead in our lines with a grand total of 245.01 points as they had both The Jukebox Man and Constitution Hill win today. It would great for this line if Ballyburn could oblige tomorrow followed by either Fact To File or Galopin Des Champs on Saturday but it could happen. 🙂
