MikeKeymasterHi
Well you cannot win them all and we could only get the one place double up yesterday and unfortunately all three of today’s selections are non runners. So it will be a flat ending to what has been a pretty good week to date but such is life.
MikeKeymasterHi
A slightly different tack this morning due to a lack of runners and therefore shorter prices so we will try some each way doubles.Ffos Las 12.42 Tamarind Bay 5-1
Ffos Las 2.25 Auntie Maggie 11-1 for 4 places
Newcastle 4.15 Lechuga Lad 4-1 for 2 places
Newcastle 5.15 Bella Kopella 9-2 for 3 places
Wolverhampton 7.30 Party Bear 10-3 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
This leaves me with the task of filling in the gaps so here goesFairyhouse 12.00 Bacchanalian @ 3-1
Ffos Las 12.12 Dunskay @ 7-4
Arsenal v Man United Draw with BTTS @ 15-4
Punchestown 12.55 Lecky Watson @ 1-1
Punchestown 2.25 Salvator Mundi @ 5-6
Sahith Theegala to win Sony Open @ 18-1This makes for a nice 3639-1 accumulator…lol
The lotterynumbers will be 4,7,15,23,31 and 50
MikeKeymasterHi Hopefull
If Bamboo Bay is going to do it today is the day running off 47 with a claim might just be what the doctor ordered. Besides after Clear Storm throwing the race away the other day and Yesterdays selection being touched off for a place on the line you deserve a change of luck.
The 14-1 for 3 looks the only option as once again there are only 9 runners.
MikeKeymasterHi
How on earth Clear Storm did not win that race I will never understand as he was cruising and well clear approaching two out. But a place keeps the wolf from the door once again and there is just the one for tomorrow.
Lingfield 1.58 Berkshire Kameo @ 20-1 for 3 places looks the only option (as there only 9 runners).
MikeKeymasterHi
No returns on yesterdays trial run we ended up with just the three bets due to non runners and the results are listed below with the trifecta payouts as reference.
7.00 Just A Spark 9th/Tiger Crusade 1st/Lir Special 5th Tricast £485.07 Trifecta £374.20
8.30 Bossy Parker 2nd/Salaamaat 8th (hampered)/Concert Boy 5th Tricast 12.77 Trifecta £23.40
6.00 Global Effort 3rd/Autumn Angel 1st/Ustath 12th Trifecta £156.30
8.00 Bungle Bay/Pessoa/Speed Court (Void)
Hopefully you can see what we were aiming at with some of the payouts being eye watering but unless boredom sets in again we will put this one on the back burner for the time being.
MikeKeymasterHi
Well that caught me out I was not expecting Taunton to go ahead but it is nice to see. This means we have missed a price point or two on the Taunton runner but snooze you lose.
Taunton 3.15 Clear Storm 16-1 but option B 14-1 for 4 places sky bet (But this one is still being backed)
Newcastle 3.33 Homer Stokes 100-1 but 23-1 for 5 places looks the option
MikeKeymasterHi
Another profitable day for Hopefull as Mojomaker placed and both option A and option B would have come in. The long shot idea had was not such a bad shout as although our selection did not come in. The outsider without the favourite was the right wager in the race as the 4-5 on favourite Treasure Fleet duly won the race and was followed home by Pink Petunia @ 80-1 and Vulkan Way @ 50-1.
Right scenario, right wager but wrong horse…lol.
MikeKeymasterHi
Whilst looking through some data sent over by Hopefull Suds and myself decided to look through a few different angles and have tried a different approach over on Winning Post Tips . Also in hindsight there was also one other piece of race data that does not sit right as the favourite is a talking horse purchased for big money but with no form and could be anything. This throws the form aspect for the race out of the window but means there might be an opportunity to dabble at a huge price in the hope of a place.
Wolverhampton 5.30 Marioento 200-1 but at 100-1 for 3 places betting without the aforementioned Treasure Fleet could be worth a cheeky punt. The trainer is no mug who shows a profit with his AW 4yo runners and steps this one up in trip today.
MikeKeymasterHi
Well at 65-1 as a bit of fun the last bet was worth a punt even it did not win The Good Doctor was beaten into second by a short head. Nine Nine won betting without the favourite/s and Invincible Nao also came second but just ran out of steam on the ground.
But our x-mas and new year bets were profitable and well received (in general…lol) and with little racing on at present (due to the weather) we will throw in a test run of an old idea using the tricast on some races at Wolverhampton tonight. The general information is taken from data supplied by Hopefull which we have dabbled with added up 2+2 and probably come up with 57 but it is a bit of fun and we will see how it goes.
7.00 Just A Spark/Tiger Crusade/Lir Special (any order)
8.30 Bossy Parker/Salaamaat/Concert Boy (any order)
These two are the most likely and the following are longer shots but are possible long shots and again will be in any order
6.00 Global Effort/Autumn Angel/Ustath
8.00 Bungle Bay/Pessoa/Speed Court
MikeKeymasterHi
Last week got us back on track with only Arsenal letting the side down and puts us back in the driving seat for 2025.
Cork 12.30 Bacchanalian @ 9-4 Void
Hideki Matsuyama to win The Sentry @ 13-10 Won
Wincanton 1.33 In d’Or @ 11-8 Void
Man City to beat West Ham plus BTTS @ 13-10 Won
Arsenal to beat Brighton plus BTTS @ 13-5 Lost
Brentford to beat Southampton @ 6-5 WonWe will go in again this weekend and remember to post your bet and lucky number by 9pm Friday night you have to be in it to win it…lol
MikeKeymasterHi
Fathers Advice faded on the run in but you can’t win them all and Hopefull has an interesting runner going today at Woverhampton
7.00 Mojomaker 16-1 but option B would be 10-1 for 4 places
This one has an awful strike rate but is usually there or thereabouts and this looks a decent opportunity being a weak race. Mojomaker ran well here over course and distance the run before last despite being hampered at the start and having found 7f to far last time out returns to the right track, trip and jockey and off a lower mark.
MikeKeymasterHi
Another profit and another pat on the back for “Hopefull” with Dalmatic placing at a huge price and made for another profit on the day of +7 points on option A and a break even on the day on option B.
As for tomorrow’s selection there is just the one option but the extra place with bet365 could make all the difference.
Ayr 2.35 Fathers Advice @ 11-1 for 3 places
MikeKeymasterHi
With the racing going ahead I will price up today’s selections with added interest as there’s one we both like…lol.
Naas 3.05 Dalmatic 50-1 for 5 places or option B 15-1 for 9 places
Naas 3.40 Through The Storm @ 10-1
Through The Storm is of interest to me as the trainer does particularly well with his NHF horses has given this one a prep race two weeks ago and looks to have targeted this race. It is a tricky race with some decent stables throwing in some fancied prospects but at 10-1 I think ours is overpriced. -
