Now ridiculously we have used Ar Nos Na Gaothie in the 2.55 as the wager (without the actual selection which was Pheonix Cowboy) but the handicap races tend to throw up multiple selections so we had to go with old fashioned instinct (that’s never a good idea..lol).

At present we are debating whether to use such bets as each way extras as obviously with today’s bets 11-1 for 6 places for Commanche Moon would be a sensible option.

I was liking the early selections yesterday and Hopefull had two winners Pleasington and Jeune Prince which got the thread off to a cracker and despite getting Scalloway Bay placed we could only break even. Coolagh Magic however came close to making all the difference by betting without the favourites so we head down that path again today.

The Jukebox Man is out for the season and will need replacing the best option here is probably to boost your chances in the Arkle by putting in Majborough alongside the disappointing (so far) Firefox or to put in Teahupoo to again to boost your chances in the Stayers Hurdle. (Strong Leader is entered in the Stayers Hurdle but is drifting right out). The last option is to replace The Jukebox Man with Majborough and then Teahupoo with either Strong Leader or Firefox. ?

Djelo and L’eau d’Sud were this weekends winners and keeps the pot boiling over but we do have a few unlucky lines with a lot of minor injuries ruling their selections out until next season and as promised I will now start listing the options for the substitution options.
Suds line has been hit the worst with three (most likely) out and two having never run and I suspect Sudsie now being a seasoned TTF player will want to re-vamp this particular line so here is the line as it stands.

Another score draw with no returns from the ticket or our selections but unbelievably the biggest wager of the weekend @ 19-4 the golf bet came in. Suds bet on Wales lost by 1/2 point on the handicap and Panic Attack lost out in a photo finish which just about sums up the way the last week went on most of the threads. But onward s and upwards as they say and we will be back for another try this Friday.

Hopefull’s list produced a winner Sherborne at 6-1 and a place Bonza Boy at 12-1 in the 4.08 at Exeter which using my options would have you more or less break even but if you had taken the original prices you would have turned a small profit. We have stopped the rot but need another profitable day to bring the thread back in the black but it is now heading back in the right direction. !

Waittillitellyou won at 11-1 having drifted out all morning but with both the runners at Chepstow being non runners and Fire Dancer pulling up it was a no score draw on the day for my bet as the treble became a double the doubles singles etc and at last nights 5-1 we got our money back.
Obviously had you had ab et with BOG or taken the bigger price you woere quids in but I was not that lucky today but I lost nothing so we live to fight another day (which will probably be Thursday).
