MikeKeymasterHi
Bambino Fever finally ran and won but with an SP OF 1-10 only clocked up +4.1 points. However this now puts Andy, Hopefull and Joe in the lead this month with two winners each and all on +12.35 points. Joe has crept into the lead overall with +111.62 Suds remains on +109.07 in second place Rob is in third on +97.27 and has an interesting well fancied runner declared on Saturday in Il Etait Temps who takes on Jonbon. Mgame has Jonbon and the winner of that could well go into the lead for the month and possibly overall.
MikeKeymasterHi
I have had a bit of stick for dropping the 2025 thread as it was one of the more profitable ones but I need a new challenge and I honestly believe expanding the idea is the best way forward. Today’s runner Little Ivy although not stunningly profitable did make a small profit and although eventually only coming fifth, I still think was good shout as jumping the second last he was in third and considering he was 150-1 when I put him up gives me the confidence to expand this thread further.
So for tomorrow we will expand our options and go for a new angle by also backing in a chase race which we will include in our selections over at Fairyhouse.12.33 Speakasyoufind @ 25-1 for 4 places (Chase Race)
1.33 Agameoftwohalves @ 10-1
3.52 Dearg Mor @ 33-1 for 5 placesAdd in a bet builder option in the 1.33 when it becomes available using Puma’s Dream along with Agameoftwohalves and we will have an interesting and possibly expensive day….lol.
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Another win which I think confirms you are back in the groove and going back with just the trainers is definitely the right choice. It was my suggestion to try the jockey/trainer combinations so I take the blame for last month.
Well done for sticking with it though and nice to see you back onside, fingers crossed for “Not So Proper” tomorrow.
MikeKeymasterHi Rob
I have not forgotten about the “Ante Post” thread and a few companies are offering no runner no bet on few big races in general so I am guessing it will not be long before one of goes all in for Cheltenham. I will make the thread for all races not just Cheltenham and will start if off regardless by the weekend so you can transfer and/or link your existing bets to the new thread. I think looking at your existing wagers your bets will make a tidy start to kick the thread off.
If you are not sure how to post links just post and I will edit a link into the post for you.
MikeKeymasterHi
Already being behind in the thread it was a tricky call last night especially as to make matters worse as we are up against the odds on Bambino Fever. But we have risked 1/2 point each way at 150-1 but can only post 110-1 for the thread (as the price has shortened up overnight) but did manage another 1/2 point each way 20-1 without both Bambino Fever and Cornelienne albeit there is already a small deduction on both bets there already.
Bambino fever is the TTF horse and it would be nice to get that one in for a win to keep the competition ticking along.
MikeKeymasterHi
Bambino Fever was again a non runner but has been declared tomorrow in the 1.15 at Fairyhouse.
MikeKeymasterHi
This is not the start I had envisaged but such is life the only good thing about the last set of wagers was the non runner..lol. But joking apart the to follow horses are what they are and they came good for me last time so its the long shot bet builders and extra market wagers that are likely to give me sleepless nights. I have one horse tomorrow which unfortunately is an extra a markets horse.
As it stands we are now -7.30 in total but I will split this into groups as we progress (and I get five minutes).Fairyhouse 1.15 Little Ivy currently 150-1 but obviously I will be looking for an option when the extra markets are published.
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
It looks like yourself and Steve (Hopefull) are having your own competition Steve has a 9-1 winner so you have to go one better at 10-1. ?
Joking apart that was a good day with Sean Mc coming a tight second followed by Shabby Hill winning it looks like you could be in for a cracking start to the year.
MikeKeymasterHi
I have a non runner with Accustomed in the 3.18 which has ruined my planned bet builder doubles but that is probably a good thing…lol.
But here is a bet I can put down straight away whilst I have a look at my options.2.18 Loi Des Jeux, Sunrise Strider, Miss Mini Bee and Danny the Champ all for top 8 finish @ 20-1
MikeKeymasterHi
Bambino Fever was a non runner but has been declared tomorrow in the 1.48 at Punchestown.
MikeKeymasterHi
I dropped a couple of points last time out but surprisingly I am not too disappointed. The bet builders were never going to be easy to get home and the three selections all finished within 6 lengths of the top ten slot required finishing 11th, 13thand 14th out of 25 runners and all more or less hit there respective time assessments.
I have a couple big days coming up for the thread this week starting tomorrow at Punchestown which will include the following selections if they all go to post.2.18 Loi Des Jeux @ 33-1 for 5 places
2.18 Sunrise Strider @ 14-1 for 5 places
Both of the above are taken from my initial list of 21 to follow. They will then be mixed in with the following for the bet builder selections.
2.18 Miss Mini Bee currently 14-1
2.18 Danny The Champ currently 25-13.18 Accustomed and Fighting Falcon both available at 18-1 at present and will be used in a bet builder and/or bet builder doubles with the runners in the 2.18.
As I will be laying out quite a few points on these options tomorrow a bad day could be a disaster and these are the days you wish had not started a new thread and stuck to the old one but wheres the fun in that.
nb. Plus the fact that having taken the early price on Loi Des Jeux with both Betfair and Bet365 I should get a chance to play the exchange markets if I fancy a dabble as it is already being backed. I would be espceially interested if Sunrise Strider or Danny the Champ start to move as I believe they are both overpriced.
MikeKeymasterHi Rob
A soon as the non runner no bets come into effect I may well start off an ante post thread as it could tie in nicely with the TTF competition as I do have a couple of 50-1 plus shots lined up from the database. We used to run a Cheltenham Countdown thread many years ago which was profitable and quite popular but that could be extended to cover the Punchestown end of season meeting. ?
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Typical two winners and only one counts but it shows you have got an inform trainer for the month. I also noticed Diamond Dollar as he has been a regular on our Hurdles data base and a possible option when we come to expand our wagers is to follow specific selections that change code. ?
MikeKeymasterHi
Here are the last of the selections all are a little bit short in price this week but such is life.Fairyhouse 12.00 Munsif without Macho Man & Proactif @ 5-6
Lingfield 1.10 Siam Ruby @ 1-3
Kempton 1.30 King Al without Precious Man @ 16-5
Kempton 2.40 Boombawn without Kalif Du Berlais @ 7-5
Middlesborough to draw or win against Fulham @ 6-5
Ospreys – 5 to beat Zebre @ 10-11The lottery numbers will be 4,7,16,23,26 & 50.
