I had a slightly terse query (lol) yesterday after Chris Gotterup went on to win the Golf as to why we stopped and archived some of the threads such as in this instance the “Other Sports” thread. The simple answer is we are not a tipping site, we give our opinions if you wish to back them that’s fine but the idea of the site is to get people involved. We have stopped the tips pages to make sure visitors hopefully read the threads and join in. Which brings me around to thanking the current dynamic duo of Clarence (Sudsie) and Hopefull for there input and assistance.

I have been asked before why we do not take the bigger price as today ie 50-1 for 4 places on Benzine but as we are only attempting a 10+ point profit on each horse (for this thread) we can afford to go without the favourites at the price and still use minimum stakes. This does not mean we would not consider backing him at the bigger price away from the thread.

The big race at Cork had two non runners in Bannow Blaze and Dream Shaper with the only runner being Bursinel who drifted in the markets and ended up losing us 3 points. Our sole runner in the 6.30 at Kilbeggan did a bit better finishing third and although we had initially ignored the 20-1 and gone with the 16-1 for 5 places we did get BOG attached by taking the shorter price so when this one drifted it made us 7 points. There is nothing for tomorrow but we will at least start on +133.15 when we next go back in.

Well just the one runner today and although it was a tight finish Young Churchill just got up on the line and they all count….lol. We had a +10.8 profit from this one which makes the running total now up to +129.15.
We have nothing now on this thread until probably the weekend so it was nice to have a good day going into a break.
