Firstly has anyone had any issues, either logging in or trying to post comments on any of the threads. ??
We are trying to eradicate any issues before we reset, which we hope to do by approx the 1st of July.
Rob was the only winner today and although both Baaeed and Coerebus were both favourites a short priced winner is better than a long priced loser.
Macilgoney is proof of the pudding here, as mentioned previously he drifted alarmingly before the off never got involved and was pulled up halfway round. 🙁
Rob has has some issues getting on so has text me his tips for tomorrow at Ascot which are as follows.
2.30 Dramatised @ 5-1 for 5 places
4.20 Mother Earth @ 5-2 (Best odds guaranteed)
5.00 Bless Him @ 33-1 for 7 places
5.35 Little Big Bear @ 11-4 (Best odds guaranteed)
He has made a decent case for the outsider Bless Him with the obvious caveat that at those prices you get what you pay for. 🙂 I will try and fill in the details from Rob’s text later, time permitting.
I have not had much to put up for about a week now and with no Irish NH racing on the agenda until next week I will not be on this thread for a few days.

Please though do report any issues as soon as they happen, with any details you may think relavent, such as time it happened and any error messages recieved. I hope to fix them all by this weeeknd.

Just to keep the ball rolling we will try one of our long shot’s tonight with the following.
Netherlands v Wales (Both teams to score and have 2 or more corners in both halves with both teams to have 20 or more booking points in the game). Worth a punt at 250-1. ?

For the more serious, how about the following: (Both teams to score, 1 corner each team each half and 10 or more booking points each team). This comes out at the following prices for the home nation fixtures.

Netherlands v Wales @ 4-1
Ukraine v Republic Of Ireland @ 4-1
England v Hungary @ 6-1

Even this bet has odds of a 174-1 if you went for the treble and you know we love these especially for there cash out options.

I still cannot get any each way extra prices for College Causeway and the ground may have gone against Cullagh Star, so I have only taken the following for tonights Roscommomn meeting.

5.25 Macilgoney @ 16-1 for 4 places
5.55 Cedar Rapids @ 10-1 for 4 places

These are not what you would call high expectation selections, especially as Macilgoney is drifting like a barge in the betting markets. However both of these are low grade races and it will not take a superstar to win them. With that in mind I just fancy that with decent claimer Shane Mulcahy onboard, we could get one of these home with a slight preference for Cedar Rapids.

Although I believe flat racing to be the invention of the devil..lol.  🙂  I will in the spirit of the day enter up two selections at Ascot using a rough adaption of my NH system criteria.

2.30 Sir Busker 66-1 (no hoper) but taken @ 10-1 betting without Baaeed for 2 places
3.40 Arecibo 50-1 (grasping as straws) but is taken @ 20-1 betting without both Golden Pal and Nature Strip for 3 places

Sir Busker is not in the class of Baaeed and Arecibo should not get near either of the globetrotting front two Golden Pal and Nature Strip. However both are solid performers who have track trip and conditions to suit. If either gets in without the favourites I would be over the moon. Realistically both being placed without the favourites would be the hope as a cheeky each way double would still show a nice profit.
I have already put on the placepot using last nights selections as placepots will now be an integral part of this thread.
I will update tonights NH racing when I come from the garden this afternoon.  🙂

Well close but no coconut today Legacy Of Dreams got sixth Griffiths Park needed 8th and got 9th  🙁
but Chief Seattle kept us honest by coming second advised at 28-1. 🙂
I do have a few at Roscommon tomorrow namely as listed below but will be checking out the extra markets before deciding which ones to dabble with.

Well we did not get a return and the lottery ticket lost so it was a boring score draw on the day. 🙁
But hopefully it has shown those of you who have not been on the site before how it works and also links up with both the Goalpost Tips and Winning Post Tips tips pages.
This competition will be tried once more before the reset just to see if anyone else is likely to join in and we will look to trial another competition in the next week or so.

Willyouwalkwithme did what I thought he would, but obviously was just not good enough on the day. Mandoob in reality never got into it but as all six the runners finished within 4 lenghts of each other it was tight enough not to write him off next time out. (Rob’s) Findono wore his heart on his sleeve and led from the front but the weight for age probably told in the end. However as he held on for third place, each way backers would not have lost out.
As I have pointed out on the other threads today hopefully this has given you an idea of how the revamped site will be interlinked and you still have a window of opportunity to have a dabble if you are unsure, whether or not to join in. The site will reset in a couple of weeks when it is glich free.

Firstly thanks to three brave souls Rob,Joe and Andy who stuck there head above the trenches and joined in. I am sure there are one or two others who maybe, are looking on to see how it works (as the site had over 150 hits yesterday). The competitions are free and just a bit of fun so next we time we try it if you want to join in just drop me a line on or off the site.  🙂

The lottery ticket has been purchased and the bet placed. The stakes are nominal (in accordance with the competition rules) involving trebles and an accumulator which would pay a maximum total of just over £1,193 if they all came in.

2.20 Downpatrick Willyouwalkwithme @ 11-2
It will be tricky to beat Uncle Gerhard today and the safe bet would be betting without the favourite. But I believe my course specialist will sit in behind Ingenous Stroke before taking it up just over halfway and hopefully will slip enough of a lead to hold off the favourite.
3.05 York Mandoob @ 9-4
Mandoob and Kemari are the only proven stayers in the field but with Kemari having been off the track since January, I am expecting my selection to edge this in what on paper looks a tight contest.
4.35 Sandown Findono @ 11-2
FINDONO is the only 4yo in the race so has to give weight for age to all of his 11 rivals in this race, but has finished third on both of his starts, so he clearly has ability, whilst Jamie Spencer is just the jockey to navigate what could prove to be a tricky draw in Stall 12. (Robmull)

The only good thing about todays bit of fun was that we had the right race and the odds on favourite was indeed beaten. The bad news is not by our horse who pulled up shortly after stumbling on the dirt path across the track. 🙁
As mentioned last night there has not been anything of note for the last few days and there is nothing on the horizon until Saturday so we will try the football thread instead to see if we can conjure up a bet. 🙂

You would be opposing another well fancied odds on shot if you take the punt in the 2.00. But as the favourite has not run for a while (after running a stinker last time out) you might get lucky.
Possibly with the extra places on offer in the 3.45 an each way double would be the way to go if you just have to have a bet.
