That was a good day at the office the thread bets as Let Her Flow placed at an SP of 9-1 which wiped its nose. Alex D lost but ran well and Doyen Ta Win got the elusive 7th place and between the two wagers made a tidy little +13.80 point profit.
Add in the fact that of the other two runners mentioned last night, South East Star was a non runner but Elegant Lass won at 28-1 and it was a day to remember. 🙂
I do not have much on for Tramore tomorrow as I have been out tonight but I will be looking at the following
8.05 Wee Monarch 100-1 However 28-1 for 6 places looks the call tonight.

Doyen Ta Win we have taken at 29-1 for 8 places (40-1 for 7 places is available if you feel brave). Alex D we have taken at 40-1 in the hope we can grab a place in a weak 8 runner race.

Elegant Lass is up against it, as is South East Star and unless extra places become availble we will bypass those two. Doyen Ta Win we will have a stab at but only in the extra markets and we will be looking for 7 places. Alex D could be anything and although the rag in the field I will be looking to take a piece of the 25-1 for 4 places assuming all 8 runners stand there ground. This leaves us tonight with Let Her Flow who looks the best bet of the day at 13-2 for 5 places and will be the first bet.

I thought I had pushed my luck with those two but such is life. Whip Whittiker placed fifth so grabbed a small reward but Wille Bob having been sixth all the way round faded on the run in. This means we lost both bets there so ended up -1.20 points on the day.
There is nothing on for the next few days, but I will be back on here probably by Friday.  🙂

We could not get a bet down for the Beat The Lotto (£) Thread due to an account restriction but of the three selected last night our main bet Harel Du Marais was placed third at 40-1 but obviously we had only taken the 25-1 betting without the favourite Nikini (which duly won). Unfortunately one other came between us a win bet but we still picked another +4 points on the race. Three Loud Knocks never got near the price required and Fill The Tank lost but still left with a small +2 point profit on the day.
I have nothing of note tonight as I am still trying to sort out the issue with my accounts but hopefully will sort a wager out for tomorrow morning.

Not a bad run by Oco John taken at 25-1 and placing 3rd in a decent finish. This gives us another profitable day albeit only +4 points but every little counts. This now puts us a tidy +28.62 points up for the month and as set us us off on a decent little run. 🙂
As for tomorrow we have a problem Houston as we over at Kilbeggan and I can only see outsiders (as usual) and I need a win bet for the Beat The Lotto (£) thread.
My early thoughts are with the following but they were all meant to be extra option bets so an update in the morning would be best. Haral Du Marais is the likely thread bet but @ 25-1 without the favourite.
5.20 Haral Du Marais 33-1
6.55 Three Loud Knocks 200-1 but we will only take 75-1 for 5 places if it becomes available.
7.55 Fill The Tank @ 22-1 for 4 places
Haral Du Marais is one we had tried to back a few days ago and remains in our crosshairs but this looks a tougher race. Three Loud Knocks has been racing soley over PTP and chase races but could be anything over hurdles. The price reflects the quality of opposition and he should finish tailed off in last but he has done the distance and has finished mid division against similar chase opposition a while back. Fill The Tank is due a decent race is on a decent mark and looks overpriced.

Bet365 have not posted the extra markets and the price is already disappearing on Oco John as he appears to be a market mover. So although we have missed the 50-1 we will take a punt at the 25-1 for 5 places with Sky Bet.

Ucandoit kept the ball rolling by placing fifth but due to the rule 4 deductions etc we only managed a small +4.40 point profit on the day, but that does take us to +24.62 for the month. 🙂
We have another couple of each way extra options for tomorrow at Wexford but the prices are not yet available. However here are the two runners we will be looking for a price on tomorrow.
4.45 Complete Fantasy 50-1
5.15 Oco John 50-1
We will update the bet/s as soon as the markets become available.

We have another of our to follow horses running at Sligo tomorrow and although it is a very weak race, I still think we would be better off taking the each way extra price.
6.30 Ucandoit 50-1 but available @ 18-1 for 9 places and 22-1 for 8 places
We have been lucky of late with these but this particular oe is a bit of a monkey so beware either way.

Harel Du Marais ended up a non runner but Court Cian finished fourth so brought both of the each way extra bets in, for a small but respectable +6.16 point profit for the day. This now puts us +20.22 points up after the first two days of the month. 🙂
I have reset a few threads today and with no Irish NH racing on tomorrow it would seem a perfect opportunity to take a day off. See you soon though.  🙂

Thanks for that Joe and I am hoping you will be able to join in the Beat The Lotto (£) competition which we will restart this weeeknd. I am hoping you can use a bit of that footie expertise of yours and throw in a nap bet and if possible a next best. ?
For those of you wondering about the reset we have reset most of the threads but have left this one more or less alone, as it would be unfair to wipe out Rob’s efforts which have helped keep this particular thread more than honest since the reset. 🙂

We have just reset this thread having hopefully, now sorted out all the minor gliches with the new site.
We have left the obvious big winner in as 100-1+ shots are about as rare as hens teeth and deserve a mention. They are not, however for the faint hearted, as trying for these can lead to long losing streaks.
Since the site relaunch we have had 14 bets on this thread of which 3 have returned a profit all from the same player on the same weekend. On the flip side of the coin, we have obviously had 11 losing bets with a losing streak of 9.
We are not looking for big winners all the time, it is just the way I personally operate as we all have our own way of doing things. If you wish to put a bet up here that is even money etc please feel free to do so (if you can put a few words of reasoning down with it much the better).
Nobody on here is going to give you any grief win,lose or draw this site is just about opinions and hopefully making a few friends along the way.  🙂
