MikeKeymasterHi
Stuzzkini did us proud today and actually finished second and I was just about to put another similar option up for tomorrow at Punchestown when the price started to move very quickly.
12.50 Melnik @ 200-1 the price is still available with Ladbrokes and Corals etc but the price is dissapearing every else and is as low a2 28-1 with a lot of firms. So we have been forced to take the 200-1 but for only 3 places.MikeKeymasterHi
We are really struggling to get a bet on especially with todays proposed runner Duffys Getaway being declared a late non runner. 🙁 We do however have a back up plan in the following race.
1.10 Punchestown Stuzzikini 66-1 But we have taken the 23-1 for 6 places.
Gordon Elliot has a couple declared here and this one looks value for an extended place. 🙂MikeKeymasterHi
Alex D for the second time in under ten days has run a stinker and has all but been pulled up on both occasions without expanation so far. ? It is very rare we give up on a to follow horse but unless the jockey or trainer come forth with an excuse we may have to drop this one (albeit just on the flat).
Once again we have nothing of note to back for Saturday so will retrun to the football. 🙁MikeKeymasterHi
Unlucky Suds both favourites were well beaten so you had the right race but the wrong horse.
As for tomorrow we are still struggling but we will try Alex D again who lost when we tried him the other day but now dropped in distance and another 3lb lower might get him involved.
7.00 Dundalk Alex D @ 40-1 for 4 placesMikeKeymasterHi Suds
Thanks for throwing one out there, I am struggling to get a bet down with all the Irish Racing being off.
I noticed your price update and only just missed it as it changed to 40-1 as I was viewing it. 🙁
The 2.15 looks a tough race and I can see why you went for the 3 places best of luck. 🙂MikeKeymasterHi
We did have a few lined up for today over at Clonmel, but with the meeting being abandoned we will have to wait until Saturday unless anyone has UK wagers to put up.MikeKeymasterHi
Appreciate It ran and duly won today which took line 5 over the 200 points mark and also added a few points onto Suds Line which stil has a handful of declarations on the cards this month.
I have also been asked which races I think our line entries will run at over the Cheltenham festival and I will try and fill in the blanks by the end of the month.MikeKeymasterHi
Apologies for no updates today but I have not been feeling to well and there is likely not to be any other bets on this particular thread until Thursday. However both of the bets on Tell Her Nothing came in as the selection came 7th. This means we have now recovered after a bad start this month and now at least sit on a small profit of + 3.2 points.MikeKeymasterHi
Todays bet was optimistic but Alex D was eased down in the straight and if turning out again soon would still be of interest to me.
As for tomorrow we are finally back into Irish NH racing and head over to Cork.
12.27 Tell Her Nothing 100-1 but we will go 21-1 for 10 places with a nice option on 28-1 for 9 places.MikeKeymasterHi
I have recieved an email asking why my sudden switch to not only the flat but also the AW.
It is nothing sinister it is just that I like to keep the threads active and Alex D is a horse I have looked at over hurdles and when tried on the AW at Dundalk before ran well.
The horse now returns over a longer trip and looks well in at the weights. 🙂MikeKeymasterHi
Desperation has set in and I will be putting up a flat all weather bet at Dundalk tomorrow.
5.00 Alex D @ 33-1 for 5 places.MikeKeymasterHi

Whiskywealth was the only winner today but unfortunately was one we did not use for the thread so with Duffy’s Getaway‘s place return being the best return on the day we actually ended up -2.60 on the day. This puts us on the back foot at the start of this month especially as there is no Irish Racing on the horizon until the weekend. 🙁MikeKeymasterHi
We already have a non runner today in Roccabaker but will replace that one with the following which also make for a cheeky each way double if you are so inclined.
2.00 Fairyhouse Duffy’s Getaway 33-1 but we will use 22-1 without Elle Dorado Rock and Cher Why Not
2.30 Chetenham Knappers Hill @ 5-1For those who follow the site I do know that we do have Elle Dorado Rock from our to follow list in the 2.00 at Fairyhouse and Whiskywealth in the 2.50 at Tramore who have both placed for us before but both in my opinion are a little short in price to put up on here today.
