RobmullParticipantHi Mike,
I assume we can make substitutions upto the start of the competitions?
My thoughts are as follows:
ANZADAM
BAMBINO FEVER
GAELIC WARRIOR
IL ET TEMPS
HAITI COULEURS
JADE DE GRUGY
JASMINE DE VAUX
KOPEK DES BORDES
LOVE ME TENDER
MARINE NATIONAL
THE NEW LION
THE YELLOW CLAY
I hope your recovery is going well.
All the best,
Rob.
RobmullParticipantHi Mike,
Good compromise.
Perhaps we should have further splits below 30k, as follows:
Over 15k – 8 pts
Other races – 4 pts
What do you think?
Rob.
RobmullParticipantHi Mike,
I will be happy to go along with the majority decision regarding the rules of this game.
However, I would suggest that it may be wise to incorporate bonus points for the quality of the race.
Otherwise we will get into a situation where a poor horse that runs say 10 times in the season and manages a sole victory in a selling hurdle at Fakenham @ 50/1 scoring 50 pts, whereas a top quality chaser who wins 5 Grade 1 events, at say even money on each occasion would score just 5 pts.
My proposal would be to award bonus points to the winners of quality open races as follows:
Grade 1 – 20 pts
Grade 2 – 15 pts
Grade 3 – 10 pts
Listed – 5 pointsGraded and listed handicaps included.
Winners of graded and listed novice, juvenile and national hunt flat races would be allocated half points, so a grade 1 novice race would be worth 10 bonus points.
Hopefully not too difficult to manage, but should ensure that the quality horses come to fore.
Please let me know what you think..
All the best,
Rob.
RobmullParticipantIt is a couple of years since I last competed, but more than happy to submit a stable.
RobmullParticipantWell done to both of you!!
RobmullParticipantHi Mike,

Royale Pagaille
ZanahiyaAll the best,
Rob
RobmullParticipantHi Mike, have a look at her Soft ground form, draw bias in race and trainer form.
RobmullParticipantHi Mike,
Well done or finding Kitty Galore yesterday.
I have a couple of interesting each way selections at Leopardstown today.
LUSTOWN BABA (2.05) – 25/1 BOG with B365 (5 places).
JESSE EVANS (5.30) – 12/1 BOG with William Hill (6 places).
RobmullParticipantHi Folks,
I was disappointed with HAVEYOUMISSEDME finishing eighth at Hamilton, yesterday, but both NO MORE PORTER and BIG BABY BULL ran resonably well finishing seventh and eighth at the Curragh. NO MORE PORTER provided a 2 point profit which covered my losses on the other 2 selections, so a break even situation overall and I live to fight another day.Rob.
RobmullParticipantSaturday 4.15 Curragh
Big field handicap where it is often beneficial to have either a low, or high draw, so will be backing both BIG BABY BULL (25) and NO MORE PORTER (3) each way at 25/1 with Bet365 (7 places).
Rob.
RobmullParticipant6.53 Hamilton
HAVEYOUMISSEDME each way at 10/1 with Skybet (5 places)
Rob.
RobmullParticipantHi Folks,
Since York, things have been rather quiet on the racing front for me, so I decided to have a look at next month’s St Leger at Doncaster.
The first thing that got me interested in the race is that there are currently only 13 entries left at this stage, which suggests that the field for the last classic of the season may be unusually small and if less than 8, only 2 places are likely to be offered for an each way investment.
The colt that catches my eye is ZECHARIAH, who is currently available at 12/1.
Rob.
RobmullParticipantHi Folks,
EMPEROR SPIRIT was the overall leader as expected, but just did too much early on and weakened to finish seventh and therefore scuppered my each way return by a head.
Disappointing, but I still believe that it was a good value bet at 12/1, when he was sent off at 7/1.
Some you win, some you lose!!
Rob.
RobmullParticipantHi Mike,
Excellent tipping over the past week or so!!
I have a selection for Saturday:
2.50 Ripon EMPEROR SPIRIT, who is a prominent racer and is drawn high in stall 13, both of which are positives ar this track, so the 12/1 each way with Sky Bet with 6 places on offer appears very tempting.
