MikeKeymasterHi
Today could have been anything from a -14 point disaster to a huge win but in the end it was neither here nor there. The disappointment of the day was the one we didn’t do which was Dream Shaper who won at 11-1 and had been in out shortlist since last year and we had backed him five times already but dropped him last week…lol.
The best return of the day was (Sudsie’s) Dark Berkshire with +5.60 but overall we dropped -2.40 on the day. The 14.5 -1 bet builder double missed by one but again had we done both separately… it’s always coulda, woulda, shoulda in this game….lol.
Overall we now stand at +108.31 with nothing on the cards for tomorrow. But Suds or myself will be back soon enough as we have some interesting runners in the pipeline.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have decided that one more point will not matter too much so we have gone with a bet builder double @ 14.5 -1 on the following all to finish in the top 8.5.40 Burlington House & Dark Berkshire
6.11 Dearg Mor & Fabhcun
MikeKeymasterHi
I also have two “To Follow” horses going tomorrow at Kilbeggan which are as follows.5.40 Burlinton House 1 1/2 points each way @ 8-1 for 5 places
6.11 Dearg Mor 2 points each way @ 5-1 for 5 placesThis means we have a couple of kit kat challenges going on as we oppose each other selections in the 5.40 & 6.11 races but also brings in the possibility of a bet builder or two. ?
However we will leave that until a bit later in an update as having had a really good week or so with our selections and now standing at +110.71 points we do have 13 points already laid out tomorrow.
MikeKeymasterHi
Its hats off to Sudsie today with two cracking winners Not So Serious @ 33-1 & Max Meridius @ 11-2 plus a placed horse Tantrum Boy @ 40-1. Having had a 25-1 shot a few days who lost by a nose this was a just reward and goes along way to proving the worth of the system. I was skeptical over the standard 1 point each way standard wager but looking at the results what do I know.
Obviously though all of Suds selections are and will be “To Follow” horses wheres all of my runners today were Extra Market horses and all came unstuck. With this in mind I will hand over to Suds now and only post the occasional horse if they are still on my original “To Follow” list. I will continue to do the math and if required may assist with taking some of the prices as Suds still works but I am now a man of leisure having retired and have more time. As an example todays big 33-1 winner actually drifted to 50-1 but it was swings and roundabouts as the other two shortened up.
The running total now stands at +112.71 which is another goal achieved and means with Suds now taking the reins I can move onto the other target for 2026 which is the dreaded betfair exchange idea.
I will keep using this thread for that but will run a separate running total which will as always with me will start from scratch.

MikeKeymasterHi
Well done with Jupiter De Gite Suds how he didn’t win that I will never know I was convinced he had that on the line. But it was still +4 points (was a nose away from being+30) . My “To Follow” horse won for +9 I meant to have typed 3.5 last night to get the required 10 points but it has been a long week.
However it was +13 on the day and has gone a long way to proving anybody can use the system and we now stand on a running total of +62.51. I have nothing so far for tomorrow but will double check later.
MikeKeymasterHi
Apologies for late post but been a really busy day and I will just settle for the wager on the “To Follow” horse placed last night.
MikeKeymasterHi
I got the wrong team for the quarter finals I should have gone with Sweden’s neighbors Norway…lol. But at least our tournament main bet Argentina have made it through to the final so backing against them or cashing out is a viable option.
It will not be long before the premiership starts up so if anyone is interested we will be trying a long haul ante post wager on the all or most of the clubs that are likely to be involved at the top and bottom of the table and following them through the season.
MikeKeymasterHi
Mickey Cohen was indeed a non runner so we move on to tomorrow at Killarney with the following4.30 Happy Me 16-1
5.35 Illtakehimmyself (“To Follow” horse)3 points each way @ 5-2 for 5 places
6.45 Speakasyoufind 9-2I will update the thread tomorrow when the extra markets open up.
MikeKeymasterHi
Between us we backed 8 horses and although no winners 7 of them placed including a 33-1 and an each way double this means we ended the day on +8.14 and means we move up to +49.51 as a running total.
I have Mickey Cohen declared at Downpatrick tomorrow but as he ran on Sunday am convinced he will not run tomorrow so will lave him for now. -
