The last bet went down but as they were not hurdling we only dropped a point on the long shot double and now stand at +128.62. We have two definite bets for tomorrow and a couple of extra market options.

Dearg Mor placed third which lost 0.2 but with Charlies Gift grabbing fourth it brought the bet builder in for +3.9 which made us a +3.70 profit on the day. This takes us up to running total of +129.62 and with no Irish hurdle racing tomorrow leaves us taking on a double on horses taken from our list which are either running on the flat or outside of Ireland.

Navan 4.48 Albatala 8-1 for 5 places

Not an inspiring race and it’s a chase rather than a hurdle but we will go with both Dearg Mor and Charlie’s Gift to finish in the top 5 @ 39-10 a today’s bet builder.

All three of mine placed and Sudsie’s just missed out but we still turned a +1.50 profit on the day which means we now stand at +125.92.

One non runner and Urbs Intacta Manet placing means we picked up a couple of points today and go back to +124.42 and we have a few runners going tomorrow at Fairyhouse which look quite promising.

2.30 Grey Fable 33-1 but we have gone 1/2 point each way @ 13-1 betting without State Pension & Farney Bridge.

Big weekend of long overdue updates to the data base for us after a rollercoaster 10 days which has left us another 3 points down after the last set of results and now on +122.42. Still not a bad running total but due to circumstances beyond our control it has not been a great September.
We have a couple of options at Killarney today which are as follows but there are no “To Follow” horses involved.

2.10 Penny Express 1/2 point each way @ 16-1 for 5 places
3.20 James The Brave 5-2 (which we will leave)
5.05 Urbs Intacta Manet (goes chasing) but 1/2 point each way was taken @ 25-1 for 4 places

Sunrise Strider is a non runner which also throws out our bet builder option. We have gone 1/2 point each way @ 100-1 and 1/2 point each way @ 21-2 for 8 places on Awordinyourear.
Last option for me is 1/2 point each way at 22-1 for 5 places on Space Warrior.

Awordinyourear the mystery horse from a few posts ago. It may be best as you say to look at the each way extra on this one until we determine the issue over his future.
The bet builder double saved the day today and helped us to finish +2.88 up on the day and takes us back up to +125.42. I have one definite runner tomorrow at Gowran Park

Centreofattention and Albatala are already non runners which along with our discovery of the two horses that already won throws a spanner in the works for our first big multiple bet for this thread but such is life. We will throw in a bet builder double which works out @ 5.9-1 using the following selections at Clonmel.

4.42 Kaschei & Hopeful Hero both for a top 3 finish

When going to place the bets late last night we realised that Kaschei and Migadam had won before so although both can still be used are no longer “To Follow” horses.
With Migdam Suds uses standard stakes so not to much of an issue but I have not gone with my incremental staking on Kaschei. I may still use Kaschei but probably in a bet builder with Hopeful Hero when the extra markets are published.
Now I am back in the game (feeling a little better 😷) we will update the data base this weekend.

Due to Ready for Road being a non runner we did not have any bets today but there are a hat full of options tomorrow at Clonmel.

Those are the early bets for tomorrow which may with Sudsie’s bet make for our first decent multiple bet for this thread.

Due to illness and commitments we did not get back on to back the two extra market horses which obviously duly won and placed (typical) which made for a bad at the office as we dropped 8.80 points on the day. This takes us back down to +122.54 and with not much on tomorrow we have decide to look for the following in a bet builder.

Sligo 4.05 Bergamasquo currently 16-1

We may after the last disaster try an each way extra or two (as well) if a decent option presents itself.
