MikeKeymasterHi
Had you gone with the each way options you would have got one placed yesterday but is was an unlucky week for most of the threads and Hopefull has lost out on four photo finishes last week which is about as unlucky as it gets. We have now gone back to level stakes and todays selections will be crucial but you just have to have a little faith sometimes…lol.
Argento Boy looks the solid option for a win all the others could be considered as each way wagers as an option B for the day.
MikeKeymasterHi
We had a few winners at the weekend but not enough or the right ones…lol. The Valheim line is still our best line and is now on a very respectable looking 456.78 points. The Feb line has 324.14, Mgame is on 299.12 and Suds despite have only 8 running is on 241.11 the rest of the lines are on 240 or less. Most of the horses will now not run until Cheltenham so now is the perfect time to reassess your options as to replacing runners you are not sure of.
I will put up some options with a full update of the lines by the end of the week.
MikeKeymasterHi
It been one of those weeks Media Naranja getting blocked in Batman Girac falling at the last (when in fifth and staying on), Sony Bill and Willy De Houlle finished 4th and 5th when we wanted third etc etc. But such is life it means we are however still confident of a return to winning ways soon and as all four bets were big prices and only cost us the minimum wager of 1 point 1/2 point each way which means we are still in profit. Here is the update for those following the thread.Happy Me -0.2 points
Big Dispute -1 point
Bishbashbosh -0.2 points
Kish Bank -0.75 points
Aspurofthemoment +10.8 points
James the Brave (backed at 1 point each way @ 10-1) – 2
Tremaine (backed at 1 point each 11-1) -2
Ballybow (backed at 1.5 points each way @ 15-2) +13.5
Lakota Blue (2 points each way) -4
You Done Well (1.5 points each way) -3
Medai Naranja -1
Batman Girac -1
Sony Bill -1
Willy De Houlle -1Running total now stands at +7.5 points
MikeKeymasterHi
It was that kind of week this week Hopefull had four photo finishes on his thread and all four went against him we had three Fallers across the threads. This thread could only manage one result and two close calls including England grabbing a last second try to kill one bet and VAR robbing us of a football bet. But do we complain…? Of course we do…lol. It just means this week is going to be better.
MikeKeymasterHi
Good And Clever and Storm Heart both placed but Search For Glory lost out so no great shakes either way today but for tomorrow we have decided to have a little competition where Suds and I will pick a set of 10 each way doubles and an accumulator to see who wins the most or maybe more to the point who loses the least on the day. Feel free to join in but it must be on the same the races as listed below and the prices must be taken from Paddy Power to ensure a level playing Field.
The races are all at Punchestown and my selections are as follows.
2.00 Don’t Tell Jack @ 2-1 without Ethical Diamond & Kainsbourg
2.30 Love At Sea @ 9-1 without Johnny Blue & Lehaunstown
3.05 Balko d’Ange @ 9-4
3.40 Son Of Anarchy @ 13-8 without Argento Boy
4.10 Slim Marvel @ 6-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
I am pushed for time but as yesterday would suggest doing all of these as standard each way wagers with the exception of Monsieur Beaulieu and Salamanca.
MikeKeymasterHi
Another set of brave selections from Hopefull but whichever option you chose yesterday would have seen you break even or make a small profit so it as a step back in the right direction. Hello Neighbour and Bashful both won yesterday and Time Was placed placed second for another close call. I will when I get five minutes attempt to price these up.
MikeKeymasterHi
Just bumping the thread with what should be a safe set of cheeky each way doubles/treble at Leopardstown (I know there’s no such thing…lol)1.40 Good And Clever @ 4-1 without Kopak Des Bordes & Kaid d’Authie
2.45 Search For Glory @ 5-1 for 6 places
3.50 Storm Heart @ 5-1 for 6 places (9-2 for 7 places sky)
MikeKeymasterHi
Unsurprisingly Constitution Hill was the only winner last weekend but obviously he is in the majority of lines so at best kept the pot boiling. But we have a hat full of chances again this weekend as we start the February competition so fingers crossed.
Leopardstown (Saturday)
1.15 Sounds Victorious (Valheim & Jan lines)
2.55 Majborough (Dec line)
2.55 Firefox (Suds, Valheim & Jan lines)
3.30 Galopin Des Champs (Valheim & Feb lines)
3.30 Fact To File (Suds, Vaheim & Feb lines)
Sandown 2.35 Jango Baie (Jan line)
Leopardstown (Sunday)
1.10 Ballyburn (Suds,Valheim & Mgame lines)
2.10 Gaelic Warrior (Feb & Dec lines)
3.20 Lossiemouth (Suds & Feb lines)
3.20 State Man (Suds & Feb lines)
Also I would advise those unlucky enough to have horses that have not run so far due to injury etc to think about the substitutions window on March 1st where I can swap two horse from each line.
I am thinking ie Suds line which has been running on eight selections instead of ten season due to Makin’yourmindup being injured and Mahler Mission having never run. Jeraboam Machin and The Jukebox Man appear to be out (injured) and there may be others so let me know if you have any preferences for substitute/replacement horses or know of anything I have missed. ?
MikeKeymasterHi
It’s nice to see Hopefull agrees and is sticking with it despite again yesterday twice losing out on the nod as although Diamond Days placed and Buzz Box won the maul still went down for another loss and puts us perilously close to being back to square one (at a zero balance). Now this is no disaster as most wagers end up in a loss but it is frustrating when you keep losing out in photo finishes etc.
Although I will be busy during the day I will post the likely odds on todays runners.LEOPARDSTOWN 1.50 Hello Neighbour @ 5-2
WETHERBY 2.08 Glory And Honour 8-1 without No No Tango & Imaginary Dragon
MUSSELBURGH 2.50 Minella Drama 6-1 without Marble Sands & The Kalooki Kid13:00 WETHERBY Time Was 16-1 3 places option B 12-1 4 places
15:07 SANDOWN Major Fortune 18-1 4 places
16:17 NEWCASTLE-AW Toby Tops 14-1 3 places Option B 10-1 4 places
16:27 MUSSELBURGH Bashful 4-1 5 places
19:40 WHAMPTON-AW Macanudo 14-1As an alternate option C I would consider swapping Bashful as a win bet into the maul and move Glory And Honour & Minella Drama which are both available @ 14-1 for 4 places as each way wagers. ? Lets hope we get a change of luck today. ?

We are soooo..close lately but have dropped a few points over the last few days so will give it one last go before I head off to start the Cheltenham ante post bets. I am sure Hopefull or myself will be dropping back on here but as it was initially meant to be just a test thread but would be Hopefull’s decision as to which way we go with it now. Here are today’s standard bet starter prices.Newcastle 1.28 Nationl Voice @ 20-1
Lingfield 3.15 Diamond Days @ 12-1 for 4 placesHere are the early suggestions for the Maul wager which fortunately will not change that much and all starter prices on todays standrad win bets have BOG attached.

Newcastle 1.28 Antiquity @ 11-8
Catterick 1.35 Kings Justice 11-2 without Whoshotthesheriff & Halpha Soleil
