MikeKeymasterHi Hopefull
As you know the Fairyhouse meeting upset our plans for our end of season wager as well but these things are sent to try us. As for “Blaze The Way” that’s just typical as I noticed that although you posted him on this thread and he just missed out you had an advised at 7-1 winner yesterday with John Betjeman as your selection on the Beat The Lotto (£) yesterday which if posted on here would have made all the difference. Racing is all about Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda and overall you would have been in profit on the day and your luck will change on this thread soon enough as its consistency that counts.
MikeKeymasterHi
We might as well have a bet even though our original idea went down the river. Sudsie I believe will be posting an alternative viewpoint when I have finished posting here. (but in the same races).Fairyhouse 1.22 Young Lucy @ 9-1 for 5 places
Cork 2.12 Cathryns Ruby @ 8-1 but without Divaboriva and Colonel Victoria
Cork 2.47 Zoffanien @ 7-1 for 5 places
Cork 3.22 Cullig @ 5-1 for 5 places
Fairyhouse 3.35 Son Of Anarchy @ 11-4 without Good Deal and Icare d’Aubrelle
Fairyhouse 4.45 Washington Parks @ 22-1 for 6 places
MikeKeymasterHi
Unbelievable… ! As has been mentioned on numerous occasions over the last few months posts on this thread, we have been planning and scheming our end of season wager for this weekend which was going to complete tomorrow on the 20th which was the last double Irish NH fixture of the season covering all the grades of racing from Maiden Hurdles onwards.
Unfortunately Fairyhouse has been abandoned today and is unlikely to race tomorrow and if it does it will be atrocious ground. This has just put to bed our planned “Holy Grail” wager and apologies to those who were involved but such is life.
MikeKeymasterHi

Fairyhouse 2.45 Ryehill @ 13-8
Newton Abbot 3.44 John Betjeman @ 11-2
Fairyhouse 5.05 Kalix Delabarrire @ 9-4
Justin Thomas to win the RBC Heritage @ 2-1The lottery numbers will be 4,7,16,23,26 and 50
MikeKeymasterHi
Apologies for lack of posts over the last few days but we had a technical issue (main computer went down) Mujeres Isla was again a non runner but we hope to have one tomorrow over at Clonmel.4.55 Godblessyourosie @ 9-2
MikeKeymasterHi
Lets see if we cannot do a little better than last week and we will throw a wild card in for tomorrow.Bangor 1.35 Isle Of Sark @ 11-4
Nottingham Forest to beat Everton @ 11-10
Ospreys -5.5 to beat Lyon @ 10-11
Ayr 3.35 Mr Incredible @ 80-1
Bellewstown 4.25 Le Bugiste @ 15-8
Bellewstown 5.00 Coyote Spirit @ 15-8The lottery numbers will be 4,7,16,23,26 and 50
MikeKeymasterHi
Iriko placed but was not the big priced option we were looking for in the Grand National so we will go all in and put up Mr Incredible for the Scottish National tomorrow. His form reads UP-PRP and as he is carrying top weight so all the stats are against him even if he starts the race (which is fifty fifty as is he is an awkward sod). But such is life he has the ability but not the temperament but at 100-1 he might just have a going day.
MikeKeymasterHi
Today was not much different to yesterday two placed one non runner and the 20-1 shot comes fifth instead of fourth which gave us a return but again no profit. It is tempting to continue with it but we are already working on our bets for the 20th so we will stop dabbling and stick with what we know. We have high hopes for our wagers on the 20th but then again I a putting up Mr Incredible at 100-1 for the Scottish National so what do I know….lol.
MikeKeymasterHi
I hate days like yesterday when you have three placed second one going down to a first time up 66-1 shot then one placing fifth when you needed fourth and to cap the day your 20-1 shot is well backed all day and then runs wide all the way round and fades away…lol. It’s not the the fact it did not turn a profit but it makes you feel a tad unlucky and want to try it again. It still is too simplistic to be true but I have to go in again just in case. These are all at Ballinrobe tonight and are all reasonable each way prices so we will go with the same bet.5.12 Holy See @ 11-4
5.47 Zoffanien @ 11-2 for 4 places
6.17 Ladium @ 20-1 for 4 places
6.47 Max Time @ 10-1 for 6 places
7.17 Love Like This @ 10-1 for 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi G
Yes the top score has gone up each year and it would be nice to get a 700 plus but that would take some doing. As for the gaming line yes every year we now dedicate a line to whichever game we are currently playing…lol.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have one tomorrow over at Limerick which already owes us but is a big price so its a “swings and roundabouts” wager.
2.52 Mujeres Isla @ 33-1 for 4 places (bet365)
MikeKeymasterHi
We are over at Limerick tomorrow where are going to try out a to good to be true idea but as we have a few weeks before our crucifixion we will keep dabbling in the hope of adding another string to our bow.2.17 Janes Harbour @ 4-5
2.52 Pheonix Cowboy @ 5-1 for 4 places
4.02 Mashalla Habibi @ 6-4
4.37 Slip Jig @ 13-2
5.10 Ixireczed @ 20-1 for 5 placesI would obviously at the prices be looking for each way doubles in this instance with the obligatory accumulator thrown in for good luck.
MikeKeymasterHi
It’s “Hats Off” to the Valheim line this year who finished on +640.35 points. The Feb line also broke the 600 finishing on +603.81 with Mgame and Sudsie both breaking the 400 point mark it was a pretty good effort all round. I will update a few more details when I get a bit more time.
MikeKeymasterHi
As is always the way lately either I am bang in form as at the end of last month and every one else has a touch of the “close but no coconut” or it’s the other way round as both Sudsie and Hopefull have been in the zone lately but I could not guess the flip of a coin at the moment. But it was another no score draw last week so we are as usual well up, but I do get the feeling our first full accumulator of 2025 is not far away. We will be back Friday night as usual. -
