Hi
I am a little concerned over the ground at Galway tomorrow but even if it comes up soft this one should be there or thereabouts.
5.40 Darkened @ 7-1 for 6 places.
In the 6.40 I would certainly not go against Rob’s Farout but with 6 places on offer would also be looking to back either of the J P O’Brien yards runners.
Powerful Aggie @ 18-1 for 6 places is currently decared to run and this one now dropping back down to handicap company and should get involved.
The yard seem to have targeted this race and if for any reason Powerful Aggis does not run Celestial Horizon currently on offer at 12-1 is a very useful reserve waiting to get a run.

Hi Rob
That was a tight finish with Dark Shift I thought he was going to get home as well. 🙁
Nice to see the professionals back in the game, can I take a back seat now. 🙂

Cracking day at the office Rob. !

Hi
Wicklow Flyer managed to get fifth place so gave us a small return and for those who had best odds guaranteed (I did not 🙁 ) the selection finished at 22-1.
There were no moves on Bergentown and unsurprisingly it ran no sort of race but the point of exercise was to check out the ride given, as I will now be looking for claimers to follow as well as horses.
There will be nothing of note until the forthcoming Galway festival, so this particular thread may go on the quiet side for a few days.

Hi
I am working again tomorrow but as we made a tidy little +14.40 profit today I will try and repeat exactly the same trick back at Limerick tomorrow with the following selection.
6.15 Wicklow Flyer @ 12-1 for 5 places
This one has been out out of sorts of late but hailing from a top yard with an interesting jockey booking, a decent looking mark and first time blinkers may be a worth a second glance.
I am always interested in a new jockey on the scene and it might be worth checking any market moves on Bergentown (also at Limerick) in the 7.15 currently 33-1 for 6 places.

[Mike]

Thanks Joe
I must admit it was a puzzler watching the race but if you check out the earlier results (as I just did) Balinbaboola Steel’s jockey Danny Mullins, pulled the same trick on Cluan Dara in an earlier race. I just wish I had put that one up as well, unbelievably we have backed him before but I bypassed him tonight as Gold Creek and Well Joey were in the same race. 🙁

Hi
Dark Matter managed fifth so we get paid out for a place as both David Garrick and Vocito finished in front of the selection. Macaban City ran well for while but was badly tailed off so does not look like one to follow which means it was more or less a blank day profit/loss wise.
As for tomorrow we will throw in Balinaboola Steel in the 7.45 at Limerick @ 12-1 for 5 places.
With a view to the reset it has been a funny month with two of the last three days being totally blank days for the site veiwing wise which was the first time that has happened outside of lockdown. 🙁 But then again we had just under 400 hits six weeks ago just after the re-launch. ?
This begs the question as to whether or not to close down the membership and turn the site into a glorified blog with just a handful of existing members posting which appears to the trend. ?

[Mike]

Hi
Whilst we work on the udpate/reset options we will throw a couple of wagers in at Ballinrobe tonight.

4.30 Dark Matter 20-1 but we will take the 12-1 betting without both David Garrick and Vocito
5.00 Macaban City 100-1 but we will take the 27-1 for 8 places.

Dark Matter will probably do a lot better in handicaps and needs this for a mark but at the same time has an interesting jockey booking and a market check is advised later in the day.

[Mike]

Hi
Lake Chad ran well enough it is just a shame he threw the jockey off half way round..lol.
But such is life and with a few abandoned meetings coming up due to the weather, this may be a perfect time to reset the site as we nothing of note on offer today and obviously the links proved problematic so we could fix those at the same time. I will check the rest of the threads tonight but with the football season fast approaching this may be the opportunity we have been waiting for. 🙂

[Mike]

Hi
No joy with the cheeky each way double yesterday but we will put forward a trial wager here using all the threads which is a direction we will be expanding on when the football season etc starts up again.
The horse we have taken on last night which is the only one today is as follows.
Tipperary 4.41 Lake Chad @ 14-1
We will then also use this one in win doubles with the following bets from the other threads of which the links will be supplied and edited on here when they are finished.

[Mike]

Hi
With no extra places available we were left with our original selections and a nice two they were. 🙂

Cracklinrose was just headed and placed second at 16-1 but best of all was The Great White which won at 13-2 advised and taken at 15-2 last night.
This made us a very nice profit of over +11 points on the day. 🙂
Unfortunately we have nothing of note on offer tonight as there are no Irish NH fixtures tomorrow but we will have a fresh look at the other meetings.
Initial thoughts are over at Market Rasen with the following two for a cheeky each way double
2.41 Caramelised @ 17-2 for 4 places
3.14 Mortlach @ 11-2 for 5 places

[Mike]

Hi
Ned The Smith ended up a drifter and pulled up but remains in the list for later. Da Big Fella placed and stopped the rot but although Court Cian ran well he was never going to trouble the judge. Of the other two in the 7.30 Zoffanien won having been backed down to 5-2 favourite from 16-1.
Now obviously it would have been better having said it was key to watch the markets today that I could have updated the drift on Ned The Smith and the heavy support for Zoffanien but that is not possible if I am working. 🙁 That is one of the drawbacks of putting my thought’s online the night before but until I retire next year such is life.

As for tomorrow we will be heading over to Kilbeggan with the following in mind.
7.00 Crackilnrose @ 14-1 for 5 places
8.00 The Great White @ 15-2 for 4 places
We will also be looking to get an each way extra on the following subject to the markets.
5.30 Doyen To Win 66-1
6.00 Sayitfirst 100-1

[Mike]

Hi
We will go over to Killarney tomorrow and have a hatful of possibilities on offer and will go with the following options this evening.
6.30 Ned The Smith @ 22-1 for 6 places Ned The Smith is one of our horse to follow and although showing nothing of note to date, steps up in trip for his handicap debut and looks one to note in the betting.
7.00 Da Big Fella @ 7-1 for 6 places Da Big Fella is returning to the scene of the crime, runs well fresh and may have been laid out for this.
8.00 Court Cian @ 20-1 Court Cian has been improving with each run and has a very decent looking jockey booking for tomorrow’s run.
7.30 Either Elegant Lass @ 18-1 or Zoffanien @ 16-1 could be worth watching in the markets as both are capable, but have been under performing of late and any market move would be worth noting.

Hi
Just one of those weekends again Supagirl 11-4 won France 6-5 (Mgame) came in HT/FT which means we just needed one more to start the trebles off. Then Victory Dance lost out by a short head in a battling finish both of the over 2 goals football matches had exactly 2 goals but had missed penalties etc and to top it off the reserve selection Speedicus 13-2 won but was never used.
Life is like that but with the lottery numbers missing out it was a score draw in the competition.

Thanks again to Mgame, JoeH and Rob for sticking there necks out and putting a selection down. 🙂

[Mike]

Thanks Joe
