Apples In Winter ran a blinder to finish second at 40-1 and was also available at 25-1 betting without the favourites which would have paid out as a win.
But I am happy enough with all four of our thread bets coming in from both Apples In Winter and Ballinclay Court which returned a healthy +11.6 point profit and a +9.6 profit for the day. 🙂
We do not have a bet for tomorrow but will be back hopefully on Thursday.

We cannot get any each way extra prices on the 1.20 and with Small Money now a non runner and Mosaahib drifting out to 200-1 it woud be ridiculous to have any sort of bet in this race. 🙁
But as ridiculous is the way we roll unless an each way extra price becomes available we will take the 66-1 betting without both Yeah Man and Feu Du Bresil. This leaves us as follows for today.
12.50 Apples In Winter 66-1 we have taken 16-1 for 9 places and 20-1 for 8 places
12.50 Ballinclay Court 66-1 but we have taken 18-1 for 9 places and 22-1 for 8 places
1.20 Mosaahib 150-1 but we have 66-1 betting without Yeah Man and Feu Du Bresil
1.20 Small Money 150-1 (non runner)

Wolves v Liverpool @ 150-1 (BTTS and 2 corners each half + 20 booking points both teams)
The American Express (Golf) Danny Willet @ 200-1
The golf and racing bets can be had as an each way double but the rest would be win bets in any combination you like. This is obviously just a fun bet but…. 🙂
The odds for this treble would be 4,583,000-1 and with maximum payout limits in place a 10p stake on the treble would make you rich. 🙂
It’s nice to be a little crazy sometimes otherwise the boredom would get you down. 🙂

No Joy with Melnick but even if I had stuck to the original wager it would have made no difference. 🙁

Stuzzkini did us proud today and actually finished second and I was just about to put another similar option up for tomorrow at Punchestown when the price started to move very quickly.
12.50 Melnik @ 200-1 the price is still available with Ladbrokes and Corals etc but the price is dissapearing every else and is as low a2 28-1 with a lot of firms. So we have been forced to take the 200-1 but for only 3 places.

We are really struggling to get a bet on especially with todays proposed runner Duffys Getaway being declared a late non runner. 🙁 We do however have a back up plan in the following race.
1.10 Punchestown Stuzzikini 66-1 But we have taken the 23-1 for 6 places.
Gordon Elliot has a couple declared here and this one looks value for an extended place. 🙂

Alex D for the second time in under ten days has run a stinker and has all but been pulled up on both occasions without expanation so far. ? It is very rare we give up on a to follow horse but unless the jockey or trainer come forth with an excuse we may have to drop this one (albeit just on the flat).
Once again we have nothing of note to back for Saturday so will retrun to the football. 🙁

Unlucky Suds both favourites were well beaten so you had the right race but the wrong horse.
As for tomorrow we are still struggling but we will try Alex D again who lost when we tried him the other day but now dropped in distance and another 3lb lower might get him involved.

Appreciate It ran and duly won today which took line 5 over the 200 points mark and also added a few points onto Suds Line which stil has a handful of declarations on the cards this month.
I have also been asked which races I think our line entries will run at over the Cheltenham festival and I will try and fill in the blanks by the end of the month.

Apologies for no updates today but I have not been feeling to well and there is likely not to be any other bets on this particular thread until Thursday. However both of the bets on Tell Her Nothing came in as the selection came 7th. This means we have now recovered after a bad start this month and now at least sit on a small profit of + 3.2 points.

Todays bet was optimistic but Alex D was eased down in the straight and if turning out again soon would still be of interest to me.
As for tomorrow we are finally back into Irish NH racing and head over to Cork.
12.27 Tell Her Nothing 100-1 but we will go 21-1 for 10 places with a nice option on 28-1 for 9 places.

I have recieved an email asking why my sudden switch to not only the flat but also the AW.
It is nothing sinister it is just that I like to keep the threads active and Alex D is a horse I have looked at over hurdles and when tried on the AW at Dundalk before ran well.
The horse now returns over a longer trip and looks well in at the weights. 🙂
