RKay‘s Celtics wager came in and the Grizzlies won so both of our bets took another step forward last night but obviously due to my fluffed first bet I am a point down on RKay. Therefore I am thinking although we are both now in a postition to split our bets it would only be fair to let RKay also start a second 1 point bet off alongside his original wager.
So the state of play at present would now be.
RKay Bet 1 +3.65
RKay Bet 2 +1.00
Mike Bet 1 +1.57
Mike Bet 2 +1.91
RKay has not split any bets so can still split his original bet using any amount 1 point or more. I have already used the 1 point option so would have to use 2 points or more if I wish to split but do not have that luxury at present. 🙁
My next bet will be as stated last night and is 1.91 points (from bet 2) on the the Cavaliers -6 @ 10-11 to beat the Raptors.

I have been waiting for a price on tomorrows Cavaliers game to do my remaining 1 point in a home game double with the Grizzlies but cannot get any odds.
This means I will have to go with the Grizzlies -2.5 @ 10-11 against the Nuggets tonight with a view to a follow up bet on the Cavaliers when the odds are announced tomorrow.

It’s apologies all round as I made a boo boo on the CLE Cavaliers bet, being the first side mentioned on bet365 I had assumed they were the home team.
They were not and they got thumped, entirely my fault I should have checked the NBA website.
On the plus side we got all three 1st quarter scores in so have got a bet started and will post the follow up basketball bet tonight. 🙂
For reference purposes NBA website, Flashscore website etc all list the home team first. Bet365 put the away team first. 🤔😢

My apologies for this mornings basketball wager on the CLE Cavaliers as it was taken on the premise that they were the home team. There home record is 25-6 and I had assumed that as they were the team first listed on bet365 they were the home team. They were in fact playing away and got thumped. I should have checked but being a basketball novice made a silly error.
Just for future reference NBA website, Flashscore website etc all list Home team on top. Bet365 put away team on top. 😕

To make amends to Suds and RKay although I cannot change the rules and add another wager in I have transferred there preferred bets over to the Reply To: Joe’s dream punt 🙂 thread and placed an equivelant five fold on the remaining wagers.

We have been dabbling on the basketball scene with RKay lately and will try to kick off a rolling maul on here using tonights fixtures and if all goes to plan we will go in again tomorrow night.
I have thrown a basketball challenge down to RKay but it might be a while until/or if he gets involved as I know he has a lot of commitments coming up.

We have no non runners in the 4.15 so will stick with the original bet there. However I have just noticed that our mate Kittyy Galore is running in the 3.05 at Thurles and as we love a front runner we will take the 12-1 currently on offer.
Kitty Galore is always a risky punt as she will go off like a train and usually get reeled in late on but she has slipped down to reasonable mark and is worth a punt today.

4.15 Joes Turn 66-1 but we will take the 20-1 betting without Sir Argus and Franciscan Rock.
We have a back up option in the same race which is Monza Man 150-1 (available at 40-1 on the above terms) but we will wait and see if any non runners are taken out before considering a wager here.

We only got the two results this week namely the Golf Adam Scott to beat Rickie Fowler and Arsenal to beat Aston Villa in the football. This means along with the lotto ticket losing the competition ended in a draw with neither team getting a return. 🙁 We will however try again this weekend. 🙂

That was a funny old day Spyglass Hill led from the off, right up until two fences out where he ran out steam. Leading Flame also faded late on, but the rank outsider Michaels Magic who went off at 250-1 actually finished 8th and made us a decent +6 point return. Obviously we only picked up +2 points on the day, but it does to a degree make amends for yesterday. This leaves us +5 points up for the month with two weeks to go.
