MikeKeymasterHi
Home fed and watered and although not 100% convinced on the 7 places for Aine Beag the 23-1 has swung the bet in my favour so we will put this one up for todays thread.
Here are tomorrows suggestions over Bellewstown along with a brief write up as I am quite keen on one or two of these, assuming they run and I can get a extra place here or there at a decent price.5.30 Atreides 40-1 but the 17-1 for 9 places looks the price to take (the options being 20-1 for 8 places if your brave or 14-1 for 10 places if your not)
6.00 Rich Belief 22-1
6.30 Sandymount Baby 33-1
7.00 Quickbuck 50-1
8.00 Clifftop 33-1Atreides ran a cracker first time out over hurdles and clocked a decent time in the process. He then fluffed his lines next time out with two bad mistakes and if avoiding those could be worth a look today.
Rich Belief looks to have been targeted at this race as he finished fourth in it last year and although this is his first run this season he has had a sharpener on the flat a few weeks ago and is worth checking in the markets.
Sandymount Baby is an unlikely winner but is a solid performer and looks like a decent shout at the right price as an each way extra bet.
Quickbuck has ability but could be the surprise package here and is worth noting if there is any support in the markets.
Clifftop looks a better flat horse than a hurdler but it is worth noting that in this class of hurdle race he has form of 4.4.2.4 in his last 4 rides (when excusing his last run which was a better race than this one).We have taken Atreides tonight as an each way extra and will update the others as the markets are published.
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Nice to know someone still has the faith unfortunately today’s long shot Lucky Two pulled up having fluffed the first few hurdle’s. π
As for the other two Kadys Dihr is available at 17-1 for 7 places and Aine Beag 20-1 for 7 places but I am not sure I would take them on unless I could get a bigger price or an extra place so I will put those two on hold until I get home. π€
MikeKeymasterHi
A Wave Of The Sea did us proud not only bringing both bets home but actually managed fourth for which some lucky punters would got the place return on odds of a whopping 125-1.
Woody Wango fluffed his lines which leaves us a difficult decision in the 8.00 and as such we will settle for what we have and move on to Wexford tomorrow where we hope the following will keep the run going.
5.05 Lucky Two 200-1 but bet 365 are offering 35-1 for 9 places
6.13 Kadys Dirha 66-1
8.28 Aine Beag 33-1
We have as you can see taken Lucky Two as our silly bet of the day and will take a closer look at the other two later when the markets settle down.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have not got the selection of runners over at Tipperary we would have hoped for but should Woodie Wango run into a place it would boost the premise of our the idea we are working on. The silly bet for today is A Wave Of The Sea who usually has a preperation run over hurdles each season before going chasing and although unlikey to win today is capable of getting involved at a huge price
6.15 A Wave Of the Sea 100-1 but the 35-1 for 7 places looks a good shout
The 90-1 for 5 places with bet 365 looks the dream bet.
6.50 Woody Wango @ 10-1
8.00 Emily In Paris @ 8-1 for 5 places
8.00 Duffys Getaway @ 8-1 for 5 places
We have gone in with an early each way double on Woody Wango and Emily In Paris as our next bet but will take another look after the non runners are declared.
MikeKeymasterHi
It was a mixed bag of results today which is usually the case if you attempt to back in Chase races as opposed to hurdle racesΒ but such is life.
3.05 Jet Fighter @ 25-1 for 6 places Pulled up -2 points
4.35 Chainofconsequences @ 28-1 for 5 places Placed +4.6 points
5.10 Elegant Dan @ 14-1 for 5 places Fell -2 points
Our bonus race selection Out The Gap (done in conjuction with Suds) also placed +3 points so it was not a bad day in the end but not the start we had hoped for. Sudsies’s each way double may or may not have come in dependent on how many places were taken as some firms had 6 places which would have been enough. We do not have a bet for tomorrow but we will be starting a new look bet on Thursday if the runners we have targeted remain in the race.
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
I can now see 20-1 on Out The Gap betting without both Inclusion and Some Dove so will add that one in to todays selections thanks for joining in.Β π
MikeKeymasterHi
New month and lets hope top get off to a flyer with the following at Tipperary tomorrow3.05 Jet Fighter @ 25-1 for 6 places
4.35 Chainofconsequences @ 28-1 for 5 places
5.10 Elegant Dan @ 14-1 for 5 placesWe will be looking at options in case of non runners with the following but these would be each way extra bets
3.05 Let Her Flow 66-1
3.35 Out The Gap 40-1
MikeKeymasterHi
Just to clarify the last post we are toying with the idea of changing the site around quite drastically and will be testing some different ideas out over the next few weeks.
For those desperate for a bet Amazing Amy can now be had at 17-1 for 6 places.
MikeKeymasterHi
We have nothing of note until the start of next week but we have started work on a new direction for some threads which will involve following trainers as well as horses. The first test run will be done at Cartmel just to see how they do today and will involve the follwing runners.3.05 Carnet De Stage @ 4-1 4 places
4.15 Prince Nino @ 20-1 4 places
4.47 Amazing Amy @ 16-1 4 places
MikeKeymasterHi
I see nothing on the horizon for me until next week at the moment with the Iris NH scene being on hold but we will look around on the other threads for a wager or two. π
MikeKeymasterHi
I did mention that Suds (Clarence) was having a decent week and that proved dividends today when Sudsie put up a 35-1 winning tip over on the Royal Ascot thread with Khaadem. π
MikeKeymasterHi
Well I had another tight finish in Apollo One for second and another two place returns with Thunderbear and Coco Jack which left me +3.2 points up for the day and just over a point up for the Ascot meeting which as it was flat racing I will settle for. Pyledriver won but the as he was the only winner from the treble he doesnt count on here.Β π
However I will now hand over the reins to the new flat race champion Suds (Clarence) who not only also had Thunderbear and Coco Jack but also came up trumps with Khaadem who won at a massive 35-1.
For anyone who took the SP the odds would have been 80-1 but this at any price was fantastic shout and well done. Sudsie.Β π
This meant that on the final day of Royal Ascot Suds picked up a profit of +43.40 points and finished the meeting a whopping +51.10 points up having not backed a favourite all week.Β π
MikeKeymasterHi
I had HMS President come second in a tight finish but with only the one place return on the day means I dropped a point and am now a couple of points down with one day to go. π
However hats off to Suds (Clarence) who had the following results on the day
2.30 mapmaker 17/1 for 9 places lost -2
3.05 shouldhavebeenaring 23/2 for 7 places +1.3
3.40 jack darcy 20/1 for 9 places NR
5.00 sparks fly 26/1 for 10 places NR
6.10 can to can 33/1 for 10 places +5.6
This means Suds ended up +4.9 points up on the day and with only one day to go is now +7.9 points up on the week. π I will post my no hopers below and await tomorrows winners from Suds with bated breath.
2.30 Maymay 50-1 but I have taken 22-1 for 9 places
3.05 Thunderbear 33-1 we have gone 15-1 for 8 places
5.00 Apollo One @ 14-1 for 8 places
5.35 Coco Jack 50-1 we are going 22-1 for 8 places
The following three have been taken as an each way treble
3.40 Kinross @ 8-1 for 5 places
4.20 Pyledriver @ 7-1
6.10 Falcon Eight 7-1
MikeKeymasterHi
There are still no bets on this thread as the Irish NH season is all but finished at this time of year but it will resume soon and there will still be the odd meeting from time to time. π
However over on our temporaryΒ Royal Ascot thread Suds (Clarence) is having a decent week for those looking for a bit of fun on the flat. π -
