We have a couple of late each way extras to consider in the 6.19 at Tramore.
Blue Reed 50-1 but we have taken 19-1 for 8 places
Man Oh Man also 50-1 but again we go with 19-1 for 8 places

Strangely with your selection I had got that race down to two each way extras, Blue Reed and Man Oh Man. We must have been singing from the same hymn sheet. 🤣 My preference was also Blue Reed but I will take Man Oh Man also at 19-1 for 8 places for my bet and also post it on the main thread.

The penny has just dropped with me as to why a few members are getting confused with the rolling maul wager. Usually on this site we ignore the stake and just post the profit as that was the whole point on the daily threads. However on this thread the rolling maul is just a slow accumulator based around a 1 point start and the stake is always included when working out the next step. here is an example taken from our existing rolling maul which hopefully should clear things up a little.
Original stake 1 point on Cosmic Blizzard but each way, so we had 1/2 (0.5) point each way at 21/10
1/2 (0.5) point win lost
1/2 (0.5) place won which gave us a profit of 2.1
Now normally we would have just told you of the profit made on the bet and started again. But in this instance as it an accumulator we have included the original stake for our next bet. So we had a profit of 2.1 points plus the 0.5 of a point from the place part of the bet which gives us a total of 2.6 points.
We then split this into 2 bets A + B as experience has taught to be careful with large accumulators
Bet A = 1.3 points
Bet B = 1.3 points
We then continued betting on Bet A and B through the next week until we lost bet A on the Man united game 🙁 so we then split the remaining bet B which had reached 7 points into two giving us Bet B and Bet C which then had 3.5 points each. This brings you up to date with the last post today where we had placed our 3.5 points from Bet B on “Both teams to have a corner in both halves at 6-4 plus a 10% bonus with bet365″. This duly won so now leaves us in a tidy postion for our next phase of play.
Bet B = 3.5 points
Bet C = 10.06 points
The only real difference between our bet and a standard accumulator is that JoeH is a seat of the pants big hitter and does the accumulator in one go 🙂 and I am a cautious back seat passenger. 🙁
I named the bet the rolling maul as I am aiming to gain a few yards slowly to get me nearer the line before having a run at the defence whereas JoeH throws the ball along the line at pace. 🙂

It went well so our joint rolling maul is as follows 1 point (starting stake) at 6-4 +10% = 2.65
We split that into two bets so now have two bets A and B going at 1.32 each. So now its over to you for the next wager, no pressure…lol. 🙂

Suds (Clarence) will be joining in the idea of the rolling maul bet today but we will probably take it in turns to post mainly using our Computer Tips (fun) thread tips. I believe as it is a bet that it appears is only used on this site I will have to set out an example of the idea.
I will get back to this later in the day but have to pop out this morning so will just place our bet for the day for bet B which is taken from the Goalposts Tips  thread and features in the England v Australia game this morning.

Well this was part of the opening line on our last post for this bet “We will now try the dodgy wager number 4” I do not know what it is about the fourth wager but we rarely get past it. In truth I thought that was a banker bet last night Man United won the cards and corners came in but we needed one more goal. 🙁 But as we are on a rolling maul bet we still have bet B running which is on 7 points so we will now split that and now have
Bet B +3.5 Points
Bet C +3.5 Points
We have a big day coming up on Thursday at Tramore and will play both the options (god willing) and try our first breakway bet. Hopefully it will become a litte clearer on the day. 🙂

Not a bad day today as we had both Charle Brune and Cosmic Blizzard placed for a small +2.2 point profit on the day. We have nothing for tomorrow but will be back with a few at Tramore on Thursday.

We have taken the 15-1 for 7 places on Save Tonight but Charle Brune has drifted a bit so as predicted it will be one of those days. 🙁 🙂

We have taken 17-1 for 6 places on Cosmic Blizzard but will hold fire on backing Save Tonight until we can obtain a better price. 🙂 On the plus side it looks a though Charle Brune has become a market mover so it certainly looks like being a game of cat and mouse with the markets today.

Rohans Successor placed (but our bet picked up a heavy deduction of 20%) which means we we now stand as listed below.
Bet A 5.42 after 3 bets
Bet B 7.00 after 3 bets
We will now try the dodgy wager number 4 on Bet A which is all 5.42 on tonights Man United v Wolves match
Man United to win score more than 1 goal and have over 3 corners plus over 1 card in the match (either team) @ 20-23.
Should this be succesful this would take us to a running total of 10.12 for Bet A and open up the possibility of the extra phase.

With Rohans Successor coming fourth this means we still have both bets going. 🙂 Bet 4 is usually where it crashes and burns as we try and take a run from the back of the maul but we will explain that one if we get there.
Bet A is now on +5.42 after 3 bets
Bet B is now on +3.24 after 2 bets
We will go with Monarch Of All in the 6.25 at Kilbeggan tomorrow at 22-1 for 8 places to see if we can take Bet B up to bet 4. Should this one win we will have two chances at explaining our next move.

It was another good day at the office today as Pickanumber came second and Sarah Beara won the only one to let us down was Star Official who ran in snatches and just had a bad hair day. 🙁
As for tomorrow we will try a similar tack to todays and go for the following over at Kilbeggan

5.25 The Coleen @ 9-1
5.55 Chilled Out @ 14-1
We will once again also take on an each way double with The Coleen and Chilled Out for 4 places

Nice one you must be confident to post this early best of luck with all your selections and watch out for the return of the Beat The Lotto competition. 🙂
We will try and keep the interest going on our rolling maul with a strange wager which goes in the 4.55 at Wexford. Rohans Successor was taken against our other selection Pickanumber soley as all the other firms were going between 25-1 and 33-1 at 4.30 but bet365 had this one at 66-1 so we could get 17-1 for 6 places which looked the real deal.
We will use this one as a continuation of bet A and hope we can get both home.
