Hi
So close but yet so far away Kimjoy jumped up alongside the leader and eventual winner Theflyingbee at the last and came crashing down having looked all over a winner. Had he stayed up we would have won anyway as we had taken the price without the favourite Theflyingbee. π You get days like that which was compounded by our other selection Tramps Like Us taking the lead two out then screwing up the last two fences and fading on the run in to finish out of the frame.
I have nothing for tomorrow mainly because I am now sulking and cannot be asked to look. Ok…not really, but I could not see anything obvious tonight but will check again in the morning. π25/04/2024 at 2:38 PM #17508MikeKeymasterHi
I really cannot see that much today but will put up a cheeky each way double over at Wexford
4.05 Shana Cloon @ 5-1
5.15 Scrabrook @ 5-1 betting without Tranquil Sea25/04/2024 at 7:25 PM #17511MikeKeymasterHi
I guess you have to laugh (otherwise you would cry) as Shana Cloon fell at the last which is become the norm for us lately but horse and jockey got up ok and so I guess that is the main priority.
We are running out of time with the Irish NH season and we would like end with a bang but…. .We will try a few over at Downpatrick tomorrow as we may have spotted a ringer in there.
4.20 Mount Anglesey 33-1
5.20 Be My Hero @ 8-1 for 4 places
5.50 Custers Mistake @ 33-1 for 4 places (bet 365)
Mount Anglesey we will be looking towards the extra markets. Custers Mistake could be the ringer although I did not fancy him the other day he was a market mover, before being declared a non runner. He looks a more likely proposition tomorrow and at 33-1 is worth a punt especially in the exchanges in case he starts to move again.26/04/2024 at 3:47 PM #17523MikeKeymasterHi
Bit of a glitch there but we did get Mount Anglesby at 14-1 betting without Valsorpresa and Gone For Tea. But this time we used betfair instead of bet365 as the price was a little better.26/04/2024 at 7:54 PM #17527MikeKeymasterHi
Well we did say with the Irish NH season finishing soon “we would like end with a bang” and the bangs don’t get much louder than todays results. π
4.20 Mount AngleseyΒ at 14-1 betting without Valsopresa and Gone For Tea. Won
5.20 Be My Hero @ 8-1 for 4 places (lost)
5.50 Custers MistakeΒ @ 33-1 for 4 places (bet 365) Won
We are chuffed at HQ as we also threw up Custers Mistake as a ringer and its nice when you spot one. π We felt we deserved today having had a couple of fallers lately (when in contention) which makes the day even sweeter. π
We will be back for a look at the “Punchestown Festival” next week but we are unlikely to do better than today and with nothing running until the festival we can take a few days off and gloat over a good days work. π27/04/2024 at 8:54 AM #17536MgameParticipantHi mc
Nice one yesterday, I came back just in time. Anytime you want to put up a tip up with us as a guest, you know where we are. Also do you still dabble with your ante post Cheltenham tips.27/04/2024 at 9:44 AM #17537MikeKeymasterHi G (Mgame)
You must be a lucky charm…lol. We cleared a tidy +54.40 point profit yesterday reminds me of the good old days. π Strangely I have been chatting with another member about dabbling with the early Cheltenham wagers but it would for obvious reasons go under theΒ Ridiculous Ideas for 2024 thread.
Thanks for the heads up (always appreciated) π27/04/2024 at 11:22 AM #17543JoeHParticipantLovely Mike ππ»

29/04/2024 at 3:20 PM #17545MikeKeymasterHi Boys and Girls
Thanks for the messages, it’s always nice to get a heads up when something goes right. It can be a thankless task when so many people log in to view the site π but so few people join in or comment. π
Thanks again and we will be looking at the Punchestown festival later today. π29/04/2024 at 6:27 PM #17553MikeKeymasterHi
After a couple of big priced winners in the last post you fear the worst, but we will try the following over at Punchestown tomorrow.
3.05 Al Kalia @ 16-1 for 7 places (skybet)
4.15 Nusret @ 16-1 for 6 places + a 25% bonus (bet365) effectively 20-1
Lets hope for a another day in the sun before the season ends. π30/04/2024 at 7:32 PM #17564MikeKeymasterHi
Not to bad today as we got both Al Kalia and Nusret placed and it has inspired me to go back to Punchestown tomorrow with a silly one. π
2.30 Harsh @ 9-1 for 6 places
3.05 Aero’s Luck @ 14-1 for 4 places
3.40 Zulu Mike @ 66-1 for 4 places
We may well take the more serious option of 14-1 for 6 places on Zulu Mike but we just had to have a punt with this one on the exchanges as well.01/05/2024 at 11:10 AM #17578MikeKeymasterHi
We have managed to get 100-1 for 4 places on Zulu Mike with betfair but this is not BOG (best odds guaranteed) but he is unlikely to get any bigger in price. π We have taken the more serious option of 11-1 for 7 places on the Mike’s Retirement PlanΒ thread.01/05/2024 at 7:28 PM #17584MikeKeymasterHi
We had a cracking start today with a 9-1 winner in Harsh and had high hopes for the other two (well one of the other two…lol). But the day went downhill, but if you had asked me if I would have settled for a 9-1 winner at the start of the day I would have loved the idea. We ended up with a +6.80 point profit on the day which I am more than happy with. π
As for tomorrow we are going back to Punchestown for the following options
3.40 Nara @ 9-1 for 6 places
3.40 Pigeon House 28-1
6.35 Popova @ 12-1 for 6 places
7.05 Me Wee Bonnie Lass @ 18-1 for 4 places
We will be looking at Pigeon House in the extra markets as it is a very rare to see Nico De Boinville ride for anyone other than Nicky Henderson. Pigeon House is his only ride of the day other than Hendersons Chantry House. ? -
