As mentioned yesterday and even though we once again managed a winner and a few places from our placepot entries this Cheltenham although great to watch is not really a betting proposition this year and I have the feeling there will be an awful lot more non runners by the morning.
As yesterday we will throw in a placepot as Wednesday traditionally does have a decent payout if you manage to get it right. The first day paid £45.10 to a £1 today was £179.10 to a £1 but tomorrow I would expect it to be the biggest payout so far.
I will list our suggested placepot but will not place it until about 10.30 when the non runners are declared

Although you did not win the placepot I am guessing your 12-1 win on Absurde made for a decent day at the office for you. ? 🙂
For us the wait is over and we return to the Irish Racing at Thurles tomorrow and will be looking to have a dabble at the following
3.40 Targo Flavia 16-1 or Gabriel Ranger 10-1 (will decide late tonight or early doors)
4.50 Cloudy Fountain 14-1 but we are going with 10-1 for 6 places

I have an ante post wager for the Grand National today it is Mr Incredible but I would suggest taking the 40-1 with bet365 at NRNB (Non Runner No Bet).
Mr Incredible runs today in the Midlands Grand National which is the at 3.00 Uttoxeter currently priced up at 11-2 if you fancy a dabble. If he wins that his price will drastically shorten up for the Grand National in April.
The horse is a bit of a tinker and could win easily, refuse to race or bite the starter but it will be interesting to watch whatever he decides to do.
Whilst we are here, for those who followed the placepot at Cheltenham the rollover part of it will go over to Uttoxeter today which will be a lot easier to win, so I would suggest a small stakes dabble.

Uttoxeter 3.00 Mr Incredible @ 11-2 Placed
Thurles 3.40 Gabriel Ranger @ 10-1 Placed
Thurles 3.40 Targo Flavia @ 10-1 Lost
Thurles 4.50 Cloudy Fountain @ 10-1 Won
This means we cleared a profit of +11.10 for the day (its nice to get back to Irish racing) 🙂
We are looking at three tomorrow over at Down Royal and Wexford which will be as follows
Down Royal 1.07 Aurea Fortuna 80-1
Wexford 2.52 Midweek Voices 14-1
Wexford 3.07 Liberated Light 6-1
We will update these in the morning when the extra markets are posted.

Wexford has been abandoned so it leaves us with just the one wager which might be a blessing in disguise
Down Royal 1.07 Aurea Fortune 80-1 but we have gone in with 23-1 for 10 places

For those who took the hint at the weekend Winning Post Tips Mr Incredible did decide to run, did not bite anyone 🙂  and ran a blinder to finish second. Considering he had been off the track for over a year this was no mean achievement. However the important part was the 40-1 for the Grand National at NRNB. He is now as low as 16-1 for the Grand National with Paddy Power and Betfair but you can still 25-1 if you shop around.

3.58 Thegraveyardbookie @ 16-1 for 6 places (pulled up after drifting from 16-1 to 40-1)
Now we can only take the each way double for the site as we were too late with the last one.
4.33 Cerberus 66-1 (finished 5th taken at 40-1 betting without both favourite’s) Placed
