Caesers Rock led for most of the race but faded late on which means we are now looking for a selection to break the bad run and preferably before the end of the month.  🙁
We have a couple over at Limerick tomorrow which are as follows
5.45 Goodie Girl 66-1 but we have taken 28-1 for 9 places (with bet 365)
6.45 Flyaway Maggie @ 33-1 for 5 places (with sky bet).

Goodie Girl placed tenth we needed ninth and Flyaway Maggie jumped the second last in third but faltered on the run to the last.
There is nothing for tomorrow so we may fizzle out this month rather than end it with a bang. 🙁

With just a couple of days to go and being safely in profit we have an opportunity to take a punt over at Ballinrobe just to see if we cannnot break this run.

5.00 Kadys Dirha 150-1
6.30 Hallowed Star @ 50-1 for 6 places.

We have taken Hallowed Star with Sky for 6 places but will have to wait until tomorrow or late tonight to get an each way extra price on Kadys Dirha.

We have taken Kadys Dirha at 26-1 for 8 place’s in the 5.00 even though the horse has drifted out to 200-1.

That was a nice finish to the month with Kadys Dirka finishing fifth to get us a profit of +4.2 closely followed by Hallowed Star also finishing fifth for a profit of +9. This means we have a nice return on the day of +13.2 and are really happy to see the back of that losing streak.
As we have a few bob to play with now and only a day or so to go this month we will try another couple over at Ballinrobe tomorrow which are as follows.
5.00 The Peckham Pouncer 80-1
5.30 Glencourt Valley 200-1
8.00 Lough Na Fooey 50-1
We will obviously have to wait until the extra markets are declared but will update tomorrow. 🙂

We already have a non runner in Lough Na Fooey and cannot update the thread yet as the extra markets have not been published. 🙁 But we are going to add a new selection over at Ballinrobe to replace our non runner as it is an old favourite of ours and looks worth a punt. 🙂

Glencourt Valley is another non runner but we have managed to secure a price on The Peckham Pouncer as although now available at 66-1, we have taken the 19-1 for 8 places.

Unfortunately both our selections lost and with no bets for tomorrow we will end up just +21.25 points  for the month which I am more than happy with. 🙂

This keeps our record intact but with the the NH season all but over and the premiership finished we are going into our quiet period, where we start archiving last years wagers and start mapping out any future changes.  I will be retiring from work this year and will be able to spend more time on the site and hopefully take it to the next level.  🙂

We will archive last years results soon but in the meantime we have a couple of runners over at Tramore and Down Royal tomorrow to start the new month off.

Tramore 6.00 Parish Rivals 150-1 but we have taken 33-1 for 9 places
Tramore 6.00 Jeriko De Baune 66-1 we have taken 14-1 for 9 places

Down Royal 6.30 Alkascotch 66-1

We have taken the odds on the Tramore wagers but will wait to see if we can a better deal on the Down Royal runner.

We have obtained 17-1 on Alkascotch for 8 places which now makes it three bets for the day. 🙂

Parish Rivals came 10th we needed 9th but Jeriko De Baune came 8th and unexpectedly gave us a +4 point return but with Alkascotch pulling up means the day was neither a profit or a loss so it is just a case of we live to fight another day.
That day fortunately for us is tomorrow back over at Tramore where we go with the following.

6.30 Leviosa 66-1 but we have taken 19-1 for 9 places
7.00 Cracklinrose @ 17-2 for 4 places
7.00 Flyaway Maggie 40-1
7.30 Emily In Paris 33-1

We will await the publication of the extra markets for the remaining two selections as the prices/places on offer at the moment are a bit skinny.

The 1.30 looks a very open race and although drifting out this morning and unlikely to win the race 7 places looks a decent shout in such a small field. I might even be tempted myself at the 66-1 now on offer especially as Andrea Atzeni has been booked for the ride.
There are still no extra markets posted for my other runners and as I am working all day it will be a late call as to whether I can get a price in time.

We have missed the 40-1 on Flyaway Maggie but have taken the 25-1 for 4 places.
As for Emily In Paris we can get 12-1 betting without the favourite but will see how the first race goes before committing. 👍
