It’s apologies all round as I made a boo boo on the CLE Cavaliers bet, being the first side mentioned on bet365 I had assumed they were the home team.
They were not and they got thumped, entirely my fault I should have checked the NBA website.
On the plus side we got all three 1st quarter scores in so have got a bet started and will post the follow up basketball bet tonight. 🙂
For reference purposes NBA website, Flashscore website etc all list the home team first. Bet365 put the away team first. 🤔😢

Orlando Magic v Indiana Pacers under 59.5 points Ist Quarter also @ 10-11

I have been waiting for a price on tomorrows Cavaliers game to do my remaining 1 point in a home game double with the Grizzlies but cannot get any odds.
This means I will have to go with the Grizzlies -2.5 @ 10-11 against the Nuggets tonight with a view to a follow up bet on the Cavaliers when the odds are announced tomorrow.

RKay‘s Celtics wager came in and the Grizzlies won so both of our bets took another step forward last night but obviously due to my fluffed first bet I am a point down on RKay. Therefore I am thinking although we are both now in a postition to split our bets it would only be fair to let RKay also start a second 1 point bet off alongside his original wager.
So the state of play at present would now be.
RKay Bet 1 +3.65
RKay Bet 2 +1.00
Mike Bet 1 +1.57
Mike Bet 2 +1.91
RKay has not split any bets so can still split his original bet using any amount 1 point or more. I have already used the 1 point option so would have to use 2 points or more if I wish to split but do not have that luxury at present. 🙁
My next bet will be as stated last night and is 1.91 points (from bet 2) on the the Cavaliers -6 @ 10-11 to beat the Raptors.

Little bit of a late one because of the journey back for jury service, but I’ve had a look and weighed in what my next move would be.

I’m going to start with a split on the original bet into 1 and 2.65 points, and combine both the 1 points to make:

RKay Bet 1 +2.65
RKay Bet 2 +2

And then I’ve got my bets for tonight’s games as follows:

Bet 1 : GSW (-2.5) vs MIN @ 10/11

Bet 2 : DAL (-4) vs LAL @ 10/11
POR (-9.5) vs HOU @ 10/11

That’s a bold move, 🙂
You can place bets up to half an hour before the game especailly useful in basketball as I have noticed the odds can be a bit limited early doors and the full options do not appear until quite late in some of the games. This is especially useful for me on days like today as I have only just got in myself. 🙁
I will update my bet 1 before 9pm looks like it’s going to be an interesting night. 🙂

It looks like RKay has thrown the gaunlet down tonight so its all or nothing. 🙂 I will go with the following two wagers both at 2.04 points.
Bet 1 CHA Hornets (-2.5) to beat the DET Pistons in the 1st Quarter @ 10-11
Bet 2 NO Pelicans v ORL Magic under 58 points 1st Quarter @ 10-11
We appear to be singing from the same hymn sheet with one of the bet options. Let’s once again hope one of us gets through to the next round as it is starting to get interesting.
The next round has to be table stakes (all or nothing) or a three point minimum bet. 🙁 🙂

I will update the thread later when I have more time but this is an open question I need an assist with.?
Basketball is a new sport for me and I am still struggling with the home and away listings. Last night the Celtics game was listed everywhere as being a home fixture but was played at Madison Square Gardens.?
Now although I did not take the bet on, with the Celtics having a 24-7 home record it was on my list.
How do the listings work and are they subject to late changes… Help.?

It was a tough day at the office all round last night but I still have one bet running and it really has to be all in as I have used my +2 point option and the name of the game is to raise the stakes each time.
My running total is now +3.89 points which goes on a win double tonight on the following wagers which comes out at 1.27-1.  If this comes off it would take me to +8.62 which means I could then split the bet down again into two +4 point bets in the next round.
Bucks (-2) to beat the Nets in the 1st quarter @ 10-11
Nuggets to beat Rockets @ 4-25

If anyone wishes to join in or restart you just start with the usual 1 point bet. 🙂
