RobmullParticipantHi Mike,
Good idea.
Due to time constraints, I will only be posting thoughts and selection on my QUALITY RACING 2026 thread, so wondered whether you would be kind enough to place a link from here to the other thread, just in case any reader wants to see what I am getting up to?
Good luck everyone,
Rob.

MikeKeymasterHi
No problem Rob I have inserted a link into you post and will list the link again here along with one for the ante post thread.09/03/2026 at 1:29 PM #21182
ClarenceParticipantOk tomorrow in the 2.40
Madness D’Elle 14/1
Bibe Mus 16/1
Both each way for 6 places09/03/2026 at 8:07 PM #21187
MikeKeymasterHi
Not surprising that Suds and I have come up with the same selection for tomorrow as we are singing in the same choir (if not using the hymn sheet..lol).
I will go Bibe Mus @ 16-1 for 6 places in the Fred Winter Juvenille Handicap Hurdle
I have 3 others on the Ante Post Wagers thread and will combine those with the above and I Started A Joke @ 10-1 for 7 places in the Coral Cup in my usual 5 horse Cheltenham festival each way doubles etc.10/03/2026 at 10:56 AM #21199
MikeKeymasterHi
I have been asked for an opinion or two for day one of the Festival and will go with the following which can be used in 4x bet Placepot or backed as you see fit.
1.20 Old Park Star
2.00 Lulumba
2.40 Madness D’elle
2.40 Bibe Mus
3.20 Jagwar
4.00 Lossiemouth
4.40 Madara
4.40 No Questions Asked10/03/2026 at 6:16 PM #21204
ClarenceParticipantHi Mike well done thats 4 wins and a place ?
no luck today.
tomorrow 2.40 Storm Heart 6/1 and Bunting 14/1 for 7 places (sky) each way11/03/2026 at 9:28 AM #21208
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
I cannot claim 4 wins but the three wins would have made sure you did not lose out on the day.
As for today we will put some up for the placepot option and now Mgame is home I will get to watch these. Thanks for the queries over G’s health lets just say if there was a runner going called Burst Appendix we would back it without checking the form lines…lol.
Apologies for a few errors in yesterday posts dates/days etc but it has been a busy few days and hopefully all will get back to normal for the rest of the week.
1.20 No Drama This End and Ballyfad will probably fight this out but with the favourites having a strong edge over the last few years No Drama This End looks the obvious choice. ?
2.00 Romeo Coolio is no sure winner in a tough race but is as game as they come.
2.40 I really am lost here all of my ideas but one have been wiped out as non runners so I am left with Storm Heart who is a little high in the weights and Forty Coats a once decent prospect who has lost his form this year but is well in if they have got his issues sorted out.
3.20 I am not a fan of the cross country race but Favouri De Champdou looks to have a strong hand if getting round safely.
4.00 The same applies to Majborough in a weak looking race.
4.40 If you get this far Be Aware should hit the frame and at a bigger price Jour d’Evasion was a decent hurdler that has been showing signs of ability in lower grade races.11/03/2026 at 6:43 PM #21224
ClarenceParticipantHiya Storm Heart 6/1 placed 3rd
so try again tomorrow 4.40 for 7 places (sky)
Letos 12/1
Duke Silver 25/1
Minella Emperor 12/1
Minella Sixo 22/112/03/2026 at 10:49 AM #21232
MikeKeymasterHi
Yesterday was a disappointment but as you could tell I was short on options the placepot went down on the first leg and at best we only managed a couple of places. But we will put up our placepot options again but are a lot more confident today.
1.20 Bambino Fever (TTF entry)
2.00 Regents Stroll & Gold Dancer
2.40 Wodhooh (TTF entry)
3.20 Teahupoo (TTF entry)
4.00 Fact To File (TTF entry)
4.40 Absolutely Doyen & C’est Difference12/03/2026 at 6:23 PM #21235
MikeKeymasterHi Suds
I could not help but notice that in a five way finish seperated by a nose a head a neck and a head for the places yours both came in putting my one and only remaining Ante Post wager out of the frame.
I suppose you are expecting a kit kat for that…lol.12/03/2026 at 6:58 PM #21238
ClarenceParticipant😁Well I wouldn’t say no to a kit kat but happy with Letos 12/1 and Duke Silver 25/1 placing
Tomorrow 2.00 Sixandahalf 11/1 for 7 places
5.20 Air Of Entitlement 10/1 , Stede Bonnet 16/1 , Zillow 25/1 all for 6 places13/03/2026 at 9:33 AM #21246
MikeKeymasterHi
Placepots are difficult to get (especially at Cheltenham) but the last day is usually a decent payout so we are finally having a decent go at it. We are throwing in a bet builder as well on the last race.
1.20 Proactif & Highland Crystal
2.00 Karbau & Bowensonfire
2.40 Dino Blue & July Flower
3.20 Kazansky & Road Exile
4.00 Gaelic Warrior & Haiti Couleurs
4.40 Its On The Line & Con’s Roc
Bet Builder
5.20 Kel Histoire, Roc Dino, Air Of Entitlement, Stede Bonnet,Zillow & Open Secret all for a top ten finish plus bet 365 25% bonus @ 119.75-1.
Now remember these are just for fun as I have been asked to put some horses up for Cheltenham and most of these have been mentioned on the threads.
As for the bet builder it is just a signing off bet for the festival and splitting those runners down into smaller options would be the sensible option.13/03/2026 at 6:29 PM #21249
MikeKeymasterHi
No luck with the fun longshots a couple of wins and (a couple of places do not make a place pot) but Suds did get a win with Air Of Entitlement @ 10-1 in the last race so not a disaster in the end.
We will not be back on this thread until Aintree in April where possibly you will see the same horses in the next batch of place pot selections….lol. -
