It has been a funny old Cheltenham so far not helped by the Henderson yard having issues but at the halfway stage we are at last gaining a few well deserved points. Our best Cheltenham lines look to be ‘LS’ with three winners so far Gaelic Warrior, Corbetts Cross and Ballyburn they still have Teahupoo and Facile Vega running today and Fastorslow and Gerri Columbe in the Gold Cup on Friday.
The next best line would be ‘Suds’ with two winners so far Ballyburn and Lossiemouth, but also has Teahupoo,Facile Vega and Ahoy Senor running today. The bonus factor here is that both Captain Teague and Fastorslow are both entered to run in seperate races tomorrow.
I have a line with two winners Gaelic Warrior and State Man and also have two going today Stage Star and Brighterdaysahead along with Galopin Des Champs and Gerri Columbe in the Gold Cup Friday. ‘Rkay’ has two winners on the board Fact To File and Ballyburn but would need Ahoy Senor to win today plus Captain Teague and/or Bravemansgame to win tomorrow. It’s a tough ask but lets hope one of these could get to the four or five winner mark by the end of racing Friday.  🙂

I will update the final results after the weekends racing where hopefully Mgame’s line can break the 600 point mark. 🙂 The current best line to date was Rob’s last year with +601.31 which was good but we have beaten our best points total every year to date and it would be nice to see it happen again. 🙂

Although we did not win any cash I hope it was fun for all those that entered and many thanks for joining in. 🙂
It also raised a few quid extra for the donations to LS and hats off this year to Mgame who finished on +625.88 which kept our record of improving our top line score year on year intact. 🙂
It was a tough early ride for line 3 Perry and line 4 Suds who both had horses that were injured and never ran which put them at a distinct disadvantage from the start, but unfortunately such is life. 🙁 When I say injured there were minor injuries that put them out just for this season. 🙂
I hope to see a few of you next year I know G (Mgame) has moved on to better things cough..lol (a rival site) but it’s nice that old members still keep in touch and still follow the site. We are always open to new faces just sign up and join in. 🙂

Congratulations Mgame, nice score 🙂 and thanks Mike I didn’t beat last year’s score but I enjoyed again, as you said a bit unlucky with horses but nevertheless it was fun watching everyone’s horse’s 😄 I have a few going in the punchestown festival so will keep following them myself 😁👍 see how they do.

I wouldn’t say better things. But it’s where we started and when they asked me back I felt obligated and a little flattered. I am pretty sure you would have been tempted if you had not started up GPTWP.
Anyhow its always fun coming back and catching up. Getting top score in the TTF comp was a bonus. Thanks for letting me tag along for the ride catch you soon.

Assuming the competition will be going ahead again this year please let me know if you are interested in joining in again (or for the first time) before the end of this month. As although the list of horses to choose from does not usually get posted until the end of October you will have to have been an active member of the site and posted before the competition selections are posted.

I believe Clarence (Suds) and Mgame (G) will probably pick there own TTF lines this year but our resident Vikings Choncc and Emyr will be picking a competition line for the “Valheim” team so here are the lists if anyone else is having a punt. We are having a change of tactic this year and targeting the monthly prizes but there is everything to play for and you might get lucky.
It is simple enough pick one from the first 8 lines and two from line 9 (this ensures they do not all run against each other all season).
