MikeKeymasterHi
Not much going on this weekend but Suds has Greatness Awaits in the 12.50 at Navan on Sunday.
Bambino Fever is declared on Monday and I will update the thread if this one runs.14/12/2025 at 6:49 PM #20780
MikeKeymasterHi
Greatness Awaits didn’t trouble the judge today so its over to Bambino Fever tomorrow at Naas and if that one wins it will be a small but useful addititon to the points tally of Hopefull, Rob, APm and JoeH. With the fixtures being few and far between before x-mas this months competition will likely be decided between December 26-29th where are there are a wealth of fixtures and quite a few with some decent prize money attatched.
At present December stands at Mike +23.15 Rob +15.73 Mgame +12.4 JoeH +12.4
The overall competition standings see Rob +73.17 Suds +61.34 JoeH +53.71 Mike +48.2515/12/2025 at 5:37 PM #20782
MikeKeymasterHi
I did not see that upset coming as the 1-4 on shot Bambino Fever got turned over but theses things do happen. This leaves us with just the one more that I can see this week which is my entry Daydream Nation at Newbury on Wednesday. It would not effect the leader boards too much win lose or draw but it would be nice if one of us could get one.20/12/2025 at 10:29 AM #20789
MikeKeymasterHi
Unbelievably there are no runners in the competition this weekend and with no winners last week the competition standings remain as previously stated. Therefore the December competition remains wide open and if the weather holds we will have a bumper amount of runners from the “Boxing Day” meetings through to the end of the month. The second competition regarding the most profit made from the free bets is yet to kick off as both Rob and Suds are keeping there powder dry for the time being. But now we have opened it out a bit to betting without the favorites etc it might tempt someone in. ?
Best of luck to all those who are in the competition and here’s hoping you all have a great time over “Christmas”.
Stay “Healthy and Happy”

ClarenceParticipantHiya Mike, Christmas is done so lets get the Boxing Day Festivities started. πI would like to use my free bet on Romeo Coolio tomorrow if that’s ok π€π
Also good luck to all who have horses going tomorrow ππ25/12/2025 at 10:38 PM #20804
MikeKeymasterHi
No worries I will be placing your Β£5 win bet @ 4-5 on Romeo Coolio in the 2.20 at Leopardstown. I will hang around to try and get BOG with it but unless you hear to the contrary it’s on.
Should Romeo Coolio win you can either carry on, split the bet or cash it in at anytime. If you continue the bets must be used as win bets on entries from your list of runners in the competition but can be used betting without the favourite/s etc.26/12/2025 at 3:31 PM #20808
MikeKeymasterHi
An interesting first set of skirmishes with Sir Gino and Romeo Coolio being the only winners.
This means Hopefull, Andy, Joe and Mgame all pick up +15.73 from Sir Gino and Suds picks up +12.53 for Romeo Coolio.
The December competition now sees Mgame and JoeH in the lead both on +28.13 points I am in second on +23.15 Hopefull, Rob and Andy all have +15.73 with Suds on+12.53.
Obviously Mgame and JoeH both have two winners each whilst everyone else is on one.
In the overall competition Suds heads the field with +73.87 Rob is next on +73.17 and JoeH a close third with +69.44.
Also Suds has started the cash competition off with the Β£5 free bet well used on Romeo Coolio and now has a cash balance of +Β£9.50 which can now be split. Rob still has 2x Β£5 free bets to be used but has yet to place a competition bet.27/12/2025 at 7:24 PM #20814
MikeKeymasterHi
I am beginning to think after today’s results this is going to develop into a match between Suds & Rob…lol. All of the other entrants runners which I expected to get home missed out but Bownesonfire (Suds) +11 points & Haiti Coleurs (Rob) + 20 points both came in.
This means after day two of the big weekend the monthly standings are as follows.
Rob has now gone back into the lead with +35.73 and 2 wins
Mgame & JoeH remain on +28.13 points both with 2 wins
Suds has moved up into contention on +23.33 points and also has 2 wins
There are two +15 points races tomorrow and a +12 with Hopefull holding most of the aces if the bookies have got it right. Both Joe and Andy could get involved if it goes to plan but Rob could close this months competition off if his two come in.
This is why I absolutely love these competitions as it looks like this will go down to the wire once more. Rob has also retaken the lead in the overall competition with +93.17 and Suds is close up in second on +84.87 Joe remains on +69.77 but as mentioned above could turn it around tomorrow.28/12/2025 at 7:36 PM #20817
MikeKeymasterHi
Another day of surprises but at the end of it Joe went into the lead in the monthly competition with a total of +45.63. Hopefull goes into second place with +36.73 and Hopefull is tucked in on +33.23. Joe has 4 wins in the bag but no more runners Hopefull has 3 winners and 1 declared for Tuesday so still has a shout. Mgame has 3 wins and needs Brighterdaysahead to win tomorrow at odds of 11-4 or better to threaten Joe and get the all important extra win. Suds has two wins and three going tomorrow albeit two in the same race but there are still possibilities to grab another free bet if two of those win.
In the overall competition JoeH is now leading with +99.27 and couldould still be in that position as we go into the new year unless Anzadam wins for Rob tomorrow as Rob is in second place overall on +93.17. Suds is on +95.87 and is also closing in fast but with the added bonus of having two runners tomorrow.29/12/2025 at 6:12 PM #20818
MikeKeymasterHi
For the observant among you I had been playing with the excel sheet and made a boo boo with the points totals yesterday but the positions were more or less correct. Nothing has changed since correcting the the mistake yesterday with the exception that Suds had 2x winners by way of Wodhooh for +8.53 and Lossiemouth for +15.67 today totaling +24.20 and although a bold late move, could not catch JoeH.
This means that unless Hopefull or Andy have big priced winners with there forthcoming runners over the next two days, Joe will win the monthly competition as no one else has anything declared.
The monthly standings are as follows JoeH +45.63, Suds +36.73 and Hopefull +33.23 The overall standings see Suds the first to break the 100 point barrier and now has +109.07 Joe is the next inline with 99.27 and Rob remains on 93.17.
At the moment Joe H and Suds are both on 4x wins apiece and are inline for Decembers free bets for the most winners.30/12/2025 at 7:50 PM #20820
MikeKeymasterHi
Andy (APm) has one going tomorrow but unfortunately for Andy mathematically it cannot effect Decembers result so it will be hats off to Joe (JoeH) and Suds (Clarence) this month. I will post the final totals tomorrow night. Andy’s runner is as follows.Uttoxeter 12.43 Woodland Park
31/12/2025 at 3:08 PM #20825
MikeKeymasterHi
With Woodland Park only managing second the December Competition is done and dusted and the finishing positions were as mentioned in the previous post.Joe (JoeH) +45.63
Suds (Clarence) +36.73
Hopefull +33.23Joe wins the Β£5 free bet for winning the monthly competition and with Joe and Suds both having 4x winners apiece to make the cash competition a bit more interesting we have decided to give both of them a Β£5 free bet.
This means as it stands the cash competition now stands as follows
Suds has 1x unused Β£5 free bet but already has a Β£9.50 profit having used the first free bet to good effect. This means the used balance can be either be cashed reused or split in half and reused but the new Β£5 bet can only be used in one bet.
Rob and now Joe still have 2x Β£5 bets to use.
Remember that they do not count as profit until you have used the bet and it must be a win bet on horses from your competition list of entries. You may bet without the favorite/s etc and once a winning bet has been made the money from that bet can be split in half for future bets.In the overall competition the standings are as follows
Suds +109.07
JoeH +99.27
Rob +93.17
Hopefull +65.85
Mgame +63.40
APm +48.97
Hmmm…+ 48.25 (who could that be)…lol -
