MikeKeymasterHi
We are going to try something different today by way of combination tricast singles and a double. Yes I know its a long shot as its difficult enough trying to pick the winner but our data base shows the three selections to be clear of the field in both races so we think its worth a punt.Navan 1.35 Dees Lady/Swing Davis/Magic Day @ 7-4
Navan 2.10 Sermandzarak/Bossofthebrownies/Flemensface @ 21-10This also comes to a 7.53-1 double for those who like a challenge.

ClarenceParticipantHiya, nice win on both tricasts which I did in a double 😀 would there be an option to do the same thing at Cheltenham? 🤔

MikeKeymasterHi Suds
Certainly possible but it would probably have to be done using the bankers at the meeting such as Jonbon etc otherwise it might be an idea for the “Ridiculous Ideas” thread…lol. I will look into it and post again later in the week when I get a bit more time.06/03/2025 at 8:35 AM #19455
MikeKeymasterHi
We are going to go with a hat full of no hoper’s at Thurles today which are as follows3.30 Love At Sea @ 7-2 without Yoradreamer
4.00 Kp’s Ladyofknock @ 6-1
4.30 Stretchemout @ 5-1 without Beckinstine
5.00 Lady Of The Locke @ 10-3 without RushmountEach way doubles and an accumulator look the likeliest option but any return would do…lol.

ClarenceParticipantHiya , since its my birthday I am going to have a silly bet at Thurles too
4.00 One Bright Blue Rose 12/1 for 5 places
5.00 Machismo 7/1 for 3 places or 11/2 for 4 places with sky bet🥳🤞07/03/2025 at 8:11 PM #19461
ClarenceParticipantHiya well One Bright Blue Rose came 8th , but Machismo came 2nd so not a bad birthday bet 🤣 😊🥳

MikeKeymasterHi
Strechemout placed, Kp’s Ladyofknock was a non runner and the other two lost so dropped a few points on the day. But we will go in again with a similar bet tomorrow over at Gowran Park.2.10 Grimaud @ 7-5
2.40 Innatendue @ 11-2
3.15 Love Me @ 9-1 for 5 places
3.50 Joya Del Mar 7-1 but 6-1 for 7 places looks the best option08/03/2025 at 7:25 PM #19477
MikeKeymasterHi
Its been a bit like that lately, but with Grimaud winning along with Innatendue and Joya Del Mar placing we would have wiped our nose on the day so it looks like its all eyes on Cheltenham next week unless I have missed something. ?16/03/2025 at 7:48 PM #19542
MikeKeymasterHi
We are finally back with the Irish Hurdlers tomorrow and here are our suggestionsWexford 1.35 Billie Frechette @ 8-1
Down Royal 1.52 Walk On The Beach @ 7-4
Wexford 2.10 Small Doses @ 17-2
Down Royal 2.27 Savante @ 4-1 for 4 Places
Wexford 3.20 Capuccino @ 7-1 for 4 places18/03/2025 at 9:28 AM #19549
MikeKeymasterHi
I will confess we had high hopes yesterday and all was looking great after three races with the first Billie Frechette placing at 8-1 then two winners Walk On the Beach @ 7-4, Small Doses @ 8-1 (most bookies pay first past the post) we thought game on. By this time our little trial gamble only had two to go and both had been well supported and I was already writing my acceptance speech…then Savante ran a stinker and pulled up halfway round (obviously a problem there) and then Cappucino led 3 out but faded into sixth on the straight.
Its a funny old game and I sometimes wonder why I bother especially when both of our other options Timmy Tuesday in the 2.27and Balko d’Ange in the 3.20 would have respectively won and placed…lol. But we made a +8 points profit using singles on the day and like the fools we are will be back again soon.
For those who follow the thread we are looking the for “Holy Grail” of a bet utilising each way doubles and an accumulator which would have made a +16.33 point but also had a very decent possible profit hence the early excitement..lol.19/03/2025 at 7:04 PM #19556

MikeKeymasterHi
I will be out most of the day but have had a query over (NB). ? This refers to “Next Best” as when trying something new out some races often have multiple top selections.
We list these as much as anything to assist us but only where the results look borderline. This usually occurs where as today you have some weak races where the form lines are not generous and you have very little to go on.20/03/2025 at 6:18 PM #19564
MikeKeymasterHi
Well the first run for the new (hopefully improved) system proved to be problematic but worthwhile. Problematic in that it can as mentioned provide multiple selections but if we narrow that down it could be a step forward. Obviously with multiple selections we had to stick with each way singles but that at least enabled the provision of BOG (Best Odds Guaranteed).2.27 Opera Point @ 20-1 for 6 places Placed
2.27 Pheonix Cowboy @ 17-2 for 6 places (NB) Placed
3.02 Bright Legend @ 7-4 Placed
3.37 Doctor Nightingale @ 40-1 for 6 places Lost
