Everyone is being a bit tight with the prices this morning but a far as extra places go here are the best options as I see them.
Van Demon now 20-1 but 11-1 for 5 places looks the best option
Gimme A Break now 66-1 however we have gone 29-4 for 9 places
Marine Ranger now 40-1 but 10-1 for 7 places (is best we can get)
Now this race all depends on how the two the two imports at the head of the market perform and they my well clean up here leaving a trail of beaten horses behind them. But we see this race as a possible opportunity here and we see the above as the safe options for the site.

If you would like to try Media Naranja There are a few choices on bet 365 you can get 28/1 for 4 places, 14/1 for 6 places or 20/1 betting without the favourites. 🤞

Of my last attempt Van Demon placed but the other two let us down but it was no disaster on the day so we will have another dabble this time at Fairyhouse tomorrow.

1.02 Albatala 25-1 for 4 but 12-1 for 6 looks the safer option
1.37 Coumeenoole 20-1 for 3 but 10-1 for 5 looks best (so far)

A tad unlucky today as the reins snapped on Albatala as he took the lead and ran out off the course. 🙁 But Coumeenoole placed fourth and made the day bearable. There is nothing for tomorrow but we will try and sneak a few bets in before the boxing day bonanza.

We will be going in with Miss Mini Bee now 150-1 but at 35-4 for 9 places for the site. However those looking for a bit of fun the 50-1 betting without both Karoline Banbou and Qualimita is the long shot of the day.
We had mentioned a few weeks ago before I was rudely interrupted by a heart attack the principle of the each way extra now I will use todays selections as examples.
Trade Master was available at 25-1 but was also available with bet365 at the following prices when we placed the bet last night
27-4 for 7 places 35-4 for 6 places 23-2 for 5 places 13-1 for 4 places
The price on our selection was 25-1 with bet365 but generally 16-1 in most places which we thought gave us a value bet.
However Miss Mini Bee was 33-1 with bet365 and 100-1 with most firms so we left that one until the markets settled. This mornings The horse was now 150-1 everywhere which gave us the opportunity to go in and select from the following prices
35-4 for 9 places 12-1 for 8 places 17-1 for 7 places 19-1 for 6 places 23-1 for 5 places 35-1 for 4 places
We have highlighted the most likely option for a small profit for the site and will explain later what we have done (one step at at time)…lol. But you will notice that although available at 23-1 for 5 places, with the favourites likely to finish in the top four betting without them at 50-1 would give you double the odds and a chance for win just by placing.

As we are unlikely to get another bet on now before the boxing day bonanza today seemed like an ideal opportunity to explain our strategy by way of the each way extra bets. Now as highlighted in the above posts (fortunately) both of our 35-4 wagers for the site came in for a small profit but this begs the question why this type of bet. Well as you may have guessed by our mentioning the bit of fun bet on Miss Mini Bee we had personally gone in with more than our 35-4 for 9 places. In fact although the 50-1 betting without the favourites lost (by just one place) we did get the 12-1 for 8, 17-1 for 7 and 19-1 for 6 in as well. Yes we did lose the 50-1 for 5 but were still pleased with the result. The idea behind the bet is if you truly believe the bookmaker has got it wrong  you need to bet with an edge. The edge here is the fact that today’s selection would have to have finished 8th or worse for us to have sustained a loss. Now at 150-1 we would have lost out if he had won the race and possibly looked a bit embarrassed but not really as the combined odds had she even just managed third place behind behind the favourites would have totaled over 100-1.
When the new year comes around we will be using this bet as standard in one format or another and it will be linked to our new Irish NH database. 🙂

Hiya 🎄and Merry Christmas all 😊. As I will be busy tomorrow with family stuff I am going to post some boxing day bets and as you know we have been working on a three yr. old Irish horse calcs sheet so I will use that on the three yr. old races at Leopardstown and Limerick.
Set The Tone in the 12.25 at Limerick 25/1 but I am going for 10/1 for 6 places
Prairie Angel in the 1.10 at Leopardstown 66/1 but I am going for 20/1 for 5 places
And how about an E/W double with Lakota blue 5/1( 12.25 Limerick), and Naturally Nimble 7/1( 1.10 Leopardstown)
I will look at Tremaine 66/1 ( 12.25 Limerick) tomorrow if I have time to see if I can get a better price EWE😊👍

I am going to add another 3yo in from the sheets over at Limerick alongside Set the Tone
12.25 You Played Well (reserve at present) 150-1 but obviously I would be looking for an extra places price for this one.
I will update this thread later today when I have done a bit of catching up as the last post as not a great shout 🙁 but in my defense I had just come out of hospital after the ticker gave out at the start of December and many thanks to the surgeons and staff at Morriston Hospital for getting me home for the boxing day racing.
The first close finish will test how the surgery went….lol. 🙂

You Played Well is a non runner today but I have managed to play a bit of catch up and have an option or two which are as follows.
Down Royal 11.40 Telnobody 200-1 but the 100-1 betting without Ivybrook and Air Of Entitlement looks a bit of fun.
Limerick 12.58 Shadow Paddy 100-1 but 14-1 for 9 looks the safest option

Well one non runner in You Played Well, Telnobody crashed out early doors and Shadow Paddy grabbed 10th we needed 9th.
Not a disaster but could do better goes on the report card. 🙁
We do have a few options for tomorrow namely
Limerick 3.11 Kanpai 50-1 but 21-2 for 10 places looks safe with 14-1 for 9 the option.
Limerick 12.19 Alright Darling 100-1 but the extra market prices are to low at present.

A mixed bag of results yesterday Kanpai pulled up but Alright Darling placed 8th at 35-4 when 9th would have done. Aero’s Luck lost but the fog means I cant tell what happened. But Rose Boum placed 4th at 20-1 and made sure we came out of the day just ahead of the game.
We have a few options with the Irish Hurdlers today but will spend most of the day playing catch up on the data base so will give today a miss on this thread. But for those looking for a bet we had a cracking result on the Winning Post Tips thread with our “boxing day bankers” and will throw another wager down there from our private tips just to keep the threads active.

Just out of interest we have an interesting little race coming up that we noticed when updating the sheets this morning. The race is more of a watching with interest race than a betting one but we believe this race could produce one or more to follow horses.
Van Demon 50-1 is already one our to follow horses and the 17-1 for 5 places looks the shout but we will be using him as a standard to see what beats him home.
