Greetings from a very soggy Cheltenham – glad that we are not going to the racecourse today.

No selection again today, so it has been a very quite week, but hopefully there will be more activity going forward (could have 6 or 7 selections tomorrow).

Here’s a quick update on how things stand on this thread since launch date:

Winners: 14 – Bets: 15 – Strike Rate: 93.3%

Stakes: 125 pts – Returns: 145.2 pts – Profit 20.2 pts – Return On Investment: 16.2%

So far this month the system has surpassed both the 90% winners and the 10% ROI targets, but it is still early days.

I had 5 selections lined up for Navan today, but have been scuppered due to the meeting being cancelled.

However, I have salvaged a couple of bets, as follows:

3.43 Weth: CERENDIPITY – 5 pts for 4 places @ 10/21 (placed at 6.20 pm on Friday)

I think I have mentioned before backing all those at the given prices would put me back in Morriston CCU by the end of the day as I would be watching every obstacle in case of a Fall UR or Brought Down scenario. But you have been more or less bang on so far and I wish you an incident free day….lol.
I am guessing you are pleased so far as you seem to be ahead of your original targets. ?

Hi Mike,

Yes I am pleased that the system is currently producing above target returns, but just one heavily backed loser can cause a significant dent in profits over the short term.

To put your mind at rest regarding the size on my stakes, I can confirm that the value of each point is small compared with my past betting exploits, plus I could afford to lose the initial betting bank of 50 pts and with the bank sitting at over 200 pts, I am basically playing with the Bookies money, so not that scary.

PS – I will share my thoughts on the issue you raised on the protected thread, once I have sorted out a few things.

Everything was going to plan with the top 5 selections doing enough to provide a positive return, but then MR WONKA could only finish fifth, which reduced today’s profit to just 1.8 pts.

Law of averages suggested that the system was due a loser before long, so not a major issue.

Hi folks,

Another day that was going to plan with DIVABORIVA finishing second and BIRTHDAY ANGEL winning, prior to MINELLA EMPEROR being pulled up after being badly hampered at the first hurdle, resulting in a loss of 2.3 pts.

Still these things happen and the overall performance of the system remains on target at the end of week 3 despite suffering 2 losing bets this week.
