Its a bit of fun and over the last few days of testing has shown some promise making a small profit. Sunday there are two selections one odds on, so no bet for me and one that could make a small profit in the place market with the morning prices

Another decent start yesterday when Poppa Poutine placed at 16-1 which again keeps the interest going and this change of tack might just be the edge needed. ?
We have an interesting situation today in that whilst chatting (e-mailing) with Hopefull it was mentioned that there would an alternative option to Big Stage by way of Ballybawn Belter in the 1.55 at Leopardstown. I will be cheeky and give this bet the kiss of death by putting up this each way double.

Ballybawn Belter was discussed but probably for a different reason Young Lucy was of interest to me as it rare to see Rachael Blackmore booked for a different yard.

Well its getting better Insurrection was not a bet Colcannon was a non runner this left Young Lucy which placed at 7-1 Big Stage lost but the each way double on Young Lucy and Ballybwan Belter placed which means we came out with a squeak of a profit today.

Just a quick update that the option B double from last night was due to the low prices and number of runners. Now the markets have altered and we have another option these are now single wagers.

Both Mill Street and For Pleasure are from decent yards and look a much better proposition at this mornings prices and True Nation fits the bill on another level.

Well it was worth the wait as today as For Pleasure won advised at 6-1. Mill Street placed at 10-1, True Nation placed at 20-1 and The Flier Begley placed at 28-1 (BOG). Although the other two lost when you add the day up Option A came out at a +13.87 point profit and option B would have given you a +9.17 point profit.
So its hats off to Hopefull for sticking with it and lets hope we can get another boxed ticked tomorrow.
